Penile issues
I am currently a sophomore in high school and have a habit of masturbating, approximately once a day, sometimes twice.
However, after masturbating two days ago, the pleasurable tingling sensation after ejaculation has not subsided and has persisted for three days, especially when sitting, making me feel very itchy and eager to masturbate again.
I visited a urology clinic and had a urine test; the doctor said there were no signs of bladder, urethral, or other inflammation.
He prescribed me a three-day supply of "Sibutramine," which I understand is a muscle relaxant.
After taking one pill, there was no improvement, and I still feel very itchy and have a strong urge to ejaculate! Even after ejaculation, there is no significant relief; the tingling sensation remains, and I can clearly feel it when I touch the glans and the frenulum.
I suspect this might be due to heightened sensitivity of the glans from masturbation.
This situation is causing me a lot of stress.
What could this be, and how can I improve it? I'm really anxious! Please help, doctor.

Frequent sexual activity may indicate a loss of balance in life, which is generally not good.
It may suggest the presence of prostatitis or neuritis.
Recovery will take time, so it's important to rest well and maintain a healthy lifestyle for gradual improvement.
Taking some B vitamins may also be beneficial.
It is advisable to continue visiting a urologist for examinations and to discuss your condition with the physician.

More Info
Persistent itching or discomfort after masturbation can be a distressing experience, especially for young individuals. It is important to understand that various factors can contribute to this sensation, and addressing them can help alleviate the symptoms.
Possible Causes
1. Nerve Sensitivity: After ejaculation, the nerves in the genital area can remain sensitive for a period of time. This heightened sensitivity can lead to a lingering feeling of itchiness or discomfort. The glans (the head of the penis) is particularly sensitive, and stimulation can sometimes lead to a temporary state of heightened nerve responsiveness.
2. Skin Irritation: Frequent masturbation can lead to skin irritation or chafing, especially if lubrication is not used. This irritation can manifest as itching or discomfort. If the skin is dry or sensitive, it may react more strongly to friction.
3. Allergic Reactions: Sometimes, products used during masturbation, such as lubricants or soaps, can cause allergic reactions or irritations. If you have recently changed any products, consider reverting to those you have used previously without issues.
4. Infections: Although your doctor has ruled out urinary tract infections or other inflammatory conditions, it is still possible to have a mild yeast infection or other dermatological issues that could cause itching. Conditions like balanitis (inflammation of the glans) can also lead to discomfort.
5. Psychological Factors: Anxiety and stress can exacerbate physical sensations. If you are feeling anxious about your symptoms, this could contribute to the perception of itchiness or discomfort.
Solutions and Recommendations
1. Avoid Irritation: Try to reduce the frequency of masturbation for a short period to allow your skin to heal. If you continue to masturbate, ensure that you use adequate lubrication to minimize friction.
2. Gentle Cleansing: Maintain good hygiene, but avoid harsh soaps or products that can irritate the sensitive skin of the genital area. Use mild, unscented soap and rinse thoroughly.
3. Moisturize: If dryness is an issue, consider using a gentle, hypoallergenic moisturizer on the area after washing. Avoid applying anything that could further irritate the skin.
4. Cold Compress: Applying a cold compress to the area can help soothe itching and reduce inflammation.
5. Consult a Specialist: If the itching persists, consider seeing a dermatologist or a urologist who specializes in genital health. They may be able to provide a more thorough examination and suggest treatments such as topical steroids or antifungal creams if necessary.
6. Stress Management: If anxiety is contributing to your symptoms, consider engaging in relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, or physical exercise to help manage stress levels.
7. Avoid Self-Diagnosis: While it’s tempting to self-diagnose based on symptoms, it’s crucial to consult with a healthcare professional for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
Conclusion
Persistent itching after masturbation can arise from various causes, including nerve sensitivity, skin irritation, and psychological factors. By taking steps to minimize irritation, maintain hygiene, and consult with healthcare professionals, you can work towards alleviating your symptoms. Remember, it’s essential to listen to your body and seek help when needed. If symptoms persist or worsen, do not hesitate to reach out to a healthcare provider for further evaluation and treatment options.
