Pseudocyesis?
I previously had two abortions, and I haven't tracked how many times I've had sexual intercourse this month.
I only remember that my last menstrual period started on March 8, and I haven't used any contraception, relying only on withdrawal method each time.
By April 10, I still hadn't gotten my period, so I took a pregnancy test.
The first test showed one faint line and one dark line, the second test showed two lines, and the third and fourth tests also showed two lines, with the fourth test being taken in the morning.
Today, April 13, I checked the first pregnancy test again, and it has turned into one line.
My period still hasn't arrived, and I've been experiencing breast pain and cramping similar to menstrual pain.
Am I really pregnant, or is my period just late?

More Info
Based on the information you've provided, it seems you are experiencing a situation that many women face when they suspect they might be pregnant. Given your history of two previous abortions, the absence of your period since March 8, and the positive pregnancy tests you've taken, it is reasonable to conclude that you are likely pregnant.
When you take a home pregnancy test, the presence of two lines typically indicates a positive result, suggesting that the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is present in your urine. This hormone is produced shortly after a fertilized egg attaches to the uterine lining, which usually occurs about six days after conception. The fact that you received positive results on multiple tests, especially with the first test showing a faint line and subsequent tests confirming the pregnancy with clear positive results, strongly suggests that you are indeed pregnant.
However, the situation becomes a bit more complex with the additional detail that your first test has since shown only one line. This could indicate a few possibilities:
1. Chemical Pregnancy: This is a very early miscarriage that occurs shortly after implantation. In this case, you might have had a positive pregnancy test initially, but the pregnancy did not progress, leading to a drop in hCG levels and a negative test result later on.
2. Testing Error: Sometimes, tests can yield false positives or negatives due to various factors, including the sensitivity of the test, the timing of the test, or even the way the test was conducted.
3. Hormonal Fluctuations: Stress, changes in weight, and other factors can affect your menstrual cycle and hormone levels, potentially leading to a late period without pregnancy.
Given that you are experiencing breast tenderness and cramping similar to menstrual cramps, these symptoms can be associated with both early pregnancy and the onset of menstruation. It's important to note that some women do experience premenstrual symptoms even when they are pregnant.
In your case, since you have had multiple positive tests, it would be prudent to consult with a healthcare provider. They can perform a blood test to measure your hCG levels more accurately, which can help determine if you are indeed pregnant and if the pregnancy is progressing normally. Additionally, they can provide guidance on what to expect moving forward, especially considering your previous experiences with abortions.
If you are pregnant, it is essential to start prenatal care as soon as possible. This includes taking prenatal vitamins, avoiding harmful substances (like alcohol and tobacco), and making lifestyle adjustments to support a healthy pregnancy. If it turns out that you are not pregnant, your healthcare provider can help you understand the reasons for your delayed period and discuss options for managing your menstrual health.
In summary, while the signs point towards pregnancy, only a healthcare professional can provide a definitive answer through further testing. It's important to seek medical advice to clarify your situation and ensure your health and well-being.
