The glans is cracked, and there is a small amount of discharge?
Two nights ago, after having intercourse with my partner, I noticed some skin abrasion while showering, and it was slightly painful when rinsing.
The next day, while walking and exercising, my underwear kept rubbing against it, causing discomfort.
When I got home and urinated, I felt a slight stinging sensation at the tip of the glans, along with a small amount of white discharge.
Pressing on other areas of the penis did not cause any pain.
Today, the white discharge has decreased significantly compared to yesterday, but I still experience a stinging sensation.
I would like to ask the doctor what could be the cause of this condition?

It may be balanitis and urethritis; it is recommended to see a urologist for examination and treatment.

Experiencing pain and discharge after sexual activity can be concerning and may indicate a variety of underlying issues. Based on the symptoms you've described, including skin irritation, pain during urination, and the presence of white discharge, there are several potential causes to consider.
1. Skin Irritation or Trauma: The "破皮" (broken skin) you mentioned could be a result of friction during intercourse, especially if adequate lubrication was not used. This can lead to irritation, which may cause pain during washing or movement. It's essential to ensure that both partners are adequately aroused and that sufficient lubrication is applied to prevent such injuries.
2. Infection: The presence of white discharge, especially if it is accompanied by pain, could suggest a possible infection. This might include a sexually transmitted infection (STI) such as gonorrhea or chlamydia, or a yeast infection. STIs can cause symptoms like discharge, pain during urination, and discomfort in the genital area. If the discharge has a foul odor or is accompanied by other symptoms like fever or systemic illness, it is crucial to seek medical attention promptly.
3. Urethritis: The pain you experience during urination could indicate urethritis, which is inflammation of the urethra. This condition can be caused by infections, including STIs, or by irritation from soaps, lotions, or other products. Urethritis can lead to symptoms such as burning during urination and discharge.
4. Prostatitis: In males, prostatitis (inflammation of the prostate gland) can also cause pain during urination and discomfort in the genital area. This condition can be acute or chronic and may require specific treatment.
5. Psychological Factors: Sometimes, anxiety or stress related to sexual activity can manifest as physical symptoms, including pain. If there are concerns about performance or emotional issues related to intimacy, these can contribute to discomfort.
6. Post-Intercourse Pain: Some individuals may experience pain after intercourse due to various reasons, including pelvic floor dysfunction or muscle tension. This can lead to discomfort during movement or urination.
Given your symptoms, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional for a thorough evaluation. A doctor may perform a physical examination, take a detailed sexual and medical history, and possibly conduct tests such as urinalysis or swabs to identify any infections. They may also recommend treatments based on the diagnosis, which could include antibiotics for infections, topical treatments for skin irritation, or lifestyle changes to reduce friction during intercourse.
In the meantime, consider the following self-care measures:
- Use a water-based lubricant during sexual activity to reduce friction.
- Avoid any irritants such as scented soaps or lotions in the genital area.
- Maintain good hygiene, but avoid excessive washing that could irritate the skin further.
- If you notice any worsening of symptoms, such as increased pain, fever, or changes in discharge, seek medical attention promptly.
Understanding the root cause of your symptoms is crucial for effective treatment and to ensure a healthy sexual relationship. Don't hesitate to reach out to a healthcare provider for guidance and support.
