Testicular enlargement. Discomfort?

Hello, about two weeks ago, I started feeling mild discomfort in my left testicle (I usually masturbate 1 to 2 times a day, sometimes even 3).
After the first week, I refrained from masturbation for 5 days, but then I masturbated 4 times over the next 2 days, and the discomfort in my left testicle increased (after masturbation).
Recently, I have experienced discomfort even after an erection and the release of pre-ejaculatory fluid, without ejaculation.
While there is no pain upon touching, the discomfort significantly increases after masturbation, and my left testicle seems to swell.
When I examine it, it doesn't feel like the testicle itself is swollen, but rather an area near the tube, and I'm not sure if it's the epididymis or the vas deferens.
I feel fine when I don't masturbate, but I still experience discomfort after an erection and the release of pre-ejaculatory fluid.
If I avoid masturbation or don't become aroused enough to release pre-ejaculatory fluid, the swelling in the testicle subsides.
At school, I sit with my legs apart; otherwise, I feel a bit uncomfortable.
Walking or standing does not cause much discomfort.
Could you please tell me what might be causing these symptoms? Is it due to excessive masturbation, or could it be some kind of condition? I would greatly appreciate your response.
Thank you!

Your puberty has not yet ended, and engaging in sexual activities too frequently indicates a loss of balance in life.
Overall, this is definitely not ideal; perhaps 3-4 times a week of DIY would be sufficient.
Transitioning into adulthood should be done gracefully.
Based on your description, there seems to be no issue.
However, if you have concerns, it is advisable to see a urologist for an examination and discuss it with a physician.

More Info

Testicular discomfort can be a concerning symptom, especially when it persists or is accompanied by other changes, such as swelling or changes in sensation. Based on your description, it seems that you are experiencing discomfort in your left testicle, which has been exacerbated by frequent masturbation. Let's break down the potential causes and concerns associated with your symptoms.

Possible Causes of Testicular Discomfort
1. Overstimulation and Irritation: Frequent masturbation can lead to irritation of the testicles and surrounding structures. This can cause discomfort, especially if done excessively. The testicles are sensitive organs, and overactivity can lead to inflammation or soreness.

2. Epididymitis: This is an inflammation of the epididymis, the tube that stores and carries sperm. It can be caused by infections, trauma, or even prolonged sexual activity. Symptoms often include swelling, pain, and discomfort in the affected testicle.

3. Varicocele: This condition involves enlarged veins within the scrotum, which can cause a feeling of heaviness or discomfort. It may not always be painful but can lead to discomfort, especially after physical activity or sexual arousal.

4. Testicular Torsion: Although this is less likely given your symptoms, testicular torsion is a medical emergency where the spermatic cord twists, cutting off blood supply to the testicle. Symptoms typically include severe pain and swelling, and it requires immediate medical attention.

5. Hernia: An inguinal hernia can cause discomfort in the groin and testicular area, particularly when straining or lifting. This occurs when tissue protrudes through a weak spot in the abdominal muscles.

6. Prostatitis: Inflammation of the prostate gland can lead to discomfort in the pelvic area, which may radiate to the testicles. Symptoms can include pain during ejaculation or urination.

Recommendations
Given your symptoms, here are some steps you can take:
- Limit Sexual Activity: Reducing the frequency of masturbation may help alleviate the discomfort. Allowing time for recovery can be beneficial.

- Monitor Symptoms: Keep track of any changes in your symptoms, including the severity of discomfort, any swelling, or changes in urination or ejaculation.

- Pain Management: Over-the-counter pain relievers, such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen, may help manage discomfort temporarily.

- Consult a Healthcare Provider: It’s crucial to seek medical advice, especially if the discomfort persists, worsens, or is accompanied by other symptoms such as fever, chills, or significant swelling. A healthcare provider can perform a physical examination and may recommend imaging studies or laboratory tests to determine the underlying cause.

Conclusion
While your symptoms may be related to overactivity or irritation, it is essential to rule out any serious conditions. Testicular health is vital, and any persistent discomfort warrants professional evaluation. Remember, it’s always better to err on the side of caution when it comes to your health. Don’t hesitate to reach out to a healthcare professional for personalized advice and treatment options.
