What happened?
My last menstrual period was from June 1 to June 7, and the previous one was from June 30 to July 6.
The flow was normal, but the color was very clear without any blood clots.
This time, my period was supposed to start on July 30, but it did not come.
On July 31, I experienced abdominal pain typical of menstrual cramps, but as of today, August 2, it still hasn't started.
After July 6, we have engaged in mutual touching at least three times.
During one of those times, he ejaculated, but it was in his own underwear.
The other two times were just simple touching, and he only touched my clitoris without any penetration.
I have three questions for the doctor: 1.
Is my menstrual cycle considered normal? 2.
In the absence of ejaculation and penetration, can mutual touching lead to pregnancy? 3.
Is my current situation due to menstrual irregularity or could I be pregnant?

Dr. Cao Guotao reply Obstetrics and Gynecology
Hello, if your menstrual cycle is normal, the chances of pregnancy are low.
It is best to take preventive measures beforehand.
If your period is more than a week late, it is advisable to see a gynecologist.
Wishing you good health.

More Info
Understanding menstrual irregularities and pregnancy concerns can be quite complex, especially for those who are trying to conceive or are experiencing changes in their menstrual cycle. Based on the information provided, let's address your questions one by one.
1. Is my menstrual cycle normal?
Your menstrual cycle appears to be somewhat irregular, which is not uncommon. A typical menstrual cycle ranges from 21 to 35 days, with an average of 28 days. Your last recorded periods were on June 1-7 and June 30-July 6, with your next expected period on July 30. The fact that your period did not arrive on time and you are experiencing symptoms like abdominal pain can indicate a few possibilities, including hormonal fluctuations, stress, changes in weight, or other underlying health issues. If your cycles have been consistently irregular, it may be worth consulting with a healthcare provider to rule out any potential issues.
2. Can mutual touching cause pregnancy?
In general, pregnancy occurs when sperm fertilizes an egg. This typically happens through vaginal intercourse, where sperm is deposited in the vagina. In your case, since there was no direct ejaculation into the vagina and no penetration, the likelihood of pregnancy from mutual touching is extremely low. However, it is important to note that sperm can potentially be transferred from the hands or body if they come into contact with the vaginal area, but this is a rare occurrence. If you are concerned about pregnancy, consider taking a home pregnancy test if your period does not arrive soon.
3. Am I experiencing menstrual irregularities or could I be pregnant?
Given that your period is late and you have experienced some symptoms associated with menstruation, it is possible that you could be experiencing a delay due to various factors, including stress or hormonal changes. However, since you have engaged in activities that could potentially lead to pregnancy, it is advisable to take a pregnancy test for confirmation. If the test is negative and your period does not arrive, it would be prudent to consult with a healthcare provider to discuss your menstrual irregularities and any other symptoms you may be experiencing.
In summary, menstrual irregularities can be influenced by a variety of factors, including stress, hormonal changes, and lifestyle. Mutual touching without penetration and ejaculation in the vagina significantly reduces the likelihood of pregnancy, but if you have concerns, a pregnancy test can provide clarity. If your menstrual irregularities persist or if you have further concerns about your reproductive health, seeking advice from a healthcare professional is always a good step. They can provide personalized guidance and support based on your specific situation.
