When the body is weaker, small bumps may appear on the penis and then rupture?

Hello, doctor.
I often experience small red bumps on my penis (not on the glans) when I am more fatigued, under greater stress, have a weakened immune system, or when my hygiene is slightly lacking.
These bumps start as small red elevations, then turn white, burst, and become painful sores that heal after a few days.
They usually appear in the same area, and before they occur, I often feel tightness around my testicles, and urination can sometimes be painful.
This situation typically happens one or two days after these symptoms begin.
Could you please help me understand what might be causing this? I previously consulted a doctor who conducted blood tests and mentioned it was just a bacterial infection, not herpes, but it keeps recurring.
Thank you for your assistance.

It sounds like herpes, but if you have seen a doctor and still have no answers, it is advisable to consult another physician.
This condition needs to be evaluated in person, and a blood test may also be necessary to determine the cause.

Recurrent penile bumps can be a source of concern and discomfort, and understanding their causes and potential solutions is essential for managing this condition effectively. Based on your description, it seems that these bumps appear during times of fatigue, stress, or when your hygiene may not be optimal. The progression from small red bumps to white lesions that eventually break and become painful sores suggests a possible inflammatory or infectious process.

One common cause of recurrent penile bumps is folliculitis, which is the inflammation of hair follicles. This can occur due to bacterial infections, often from Staphylococcus aureus, or irritation from friction, sweat, or poor hygiene. When the hair follicles become inflamed, they can present as small red bumps that may eventually develop into pus-filled lesions. If these lesions break, they can become painful and take time to heal.

Another possibility is that you may be experiencing a form of dermatitis, which can be triggered by irritants or allergens. This can lead to localized inflammation and the formation of bumps. Stress and fatigue can weaken the immune system, making you more susceptible to infections or irritations.

Additionally, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as herpes or molluscum contagiosum could also present with similar symptoms. However, since you mentioned that previous tests ruled out herpes, it is less likely to be the cause in your case. Still, it’s important to keep in mind that some STIs can present with mild symptoms or may not be easily detectable without specific testing.

Given that you have experienced these bumps repeatedly and they are associated with discomfort, it is advisable to consult a healthcare provider for a thorough evaluation. They may recommend a physical examination, and possibly a culture of the lesions to identify any bacterial infections. If necessary, they might also suggest blood tests to rule out other underlying conditions.

In terms of management, maintaining good hygiene is crucial. Regularly washing the genital area with mild soap and water can help prevent the buildup of bacteria and irritants. Wearing loose-fitting underwear and clothing can also reduce friction and irritation. If the bumps are indeed due to folliculitis, topical antibiotics or antiseptic creams may be prescribed to help clear the infection. In cases of dermatitis, avoiding known irritants and using soothing creams may be beneficial.

If stress and fatigue are contributing factors, addressing these through lifestyle changes such as adequate rest, stress management techniques, and a balanced diet can also be helpful in reducing the frequency of these outbreaks.

In summary, recurrent penile bumps can be caused by a variety of factors including folliculitis, dermatitis, or even mild infections. It is essential to seek medical advice for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Taking proactive steps in hygiene and stress management can also play a significant role in preventing future occurrences.
