Yellow transparent discharge?

The last menstrual period was from December 1, 2016, to December 5, 2016.
On December 25, 2016, there was unprotected sexual intercourse without ejaculation.
My menstrual cycle has always been irregular, but it has never been this late.
This month, my period has not arrived (I have been under a lot of stress lately, sleeping late, feeling down, and my daily routine has been irregular).
I have taken four pregnancy tests, all of which showed negative results.
Two weeks ago, I experienced brown discharge that lasted for about three days.
This week, I started having abdominal pain, which has been particularly severe over the last two days, and I have begun to notice a large amount of yellowish transparent discharge that has no odor and does not cause itching, but my stomach hurts a lot.
I would like to know what might be going on.

A physician must personally examine a patient before administering treatment, prescribing medication, or providing a diagnosis.

Hello, the factors that can affect the menstrual cycle or cause intermenstrual bleeding are numerous, including age, environment, lifestyle, stress, emotional instability, weight changes, medications, emergency contraceptives, diet, uterine or cervical lesions, infections, pregnancy, and breastfeeding, among others.
It is advisable to consult a gynecologist if symptoms persist or worsen to determine if there is a hormonal imbalance or other underlying causes.
Thank you! Wishing you peace and health.

More Info

Understanding yellow transparent discharge, especially in the context of your symptoms, requires a careful consideration of various factors, including your menstrual history, sexual activity, and overall health. Based on the information you've provided, it seems that you are experiencing a combination of symptoms that could be related to several potential causes.

Firstly, the yellow transparent discharge you are experiencing could be a normal physiological response, especially if it is not accompanied by an unpleasant odor or itching. Vaginal discharge can vary in color and consistency throughout the menstrual cycle due to hormonal fluctuations. However, the presence of abdominal pain, especially if it is severe, warrants further investigation.

Given that you have had unprotected sexual intercourse and your menstrual cycle has been irregular, one of the primary concerns could be the possibility of a sexually transmitted infection (STI) or other gynecological issues. STIs can sometimes present with unusual discharge and abdominal pain, even if there are no other symptoms like itching or odor. Common STIs that could cause such symptoms include chlamydia and gonorrhea, which can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) if left untreated.

Another possibility is that the yellow discharge could be related to a bacterial vaginosis (BV) or a yeast infection, although these typically present with additional symptoms such as itching or a foul odor. However, the absence of these symptoms does not completely rule them out.

The abdominal pain you are experiencing is particularly concerning. It could be related to ovulation, especially if you are experiencing mid-cycle pain, or it could indicate a more serious condition such as an ovarian cyst or ectopic pregnancy, particularly given your recent sexual activity. Ectopic pregnancies can be life-threatening and typically present with severe abdominal pain, often on one side, and may be accompanied by other symptoms such as dizziness or fainting.

Stress and lifestyle factors, such as irregular sleep patterns and emotional distress, can also impact your menstrual cycle and overall reproductive health. Stress can lead to hormonal imbalances that may cause delayed menstruation and changes in discharge.

In summary, while the yellow transparent discharge may not be alarming on its own, the combination of this symptom with severe abdominal pain and a history of irregular menstrual cycles suggests that you should seek medical attention. A healthcare provider can perform a thorough examination, possibly including a pelvic exam and laboratory tests, to determine the underlying cause of your symptoms. They may also recommend a pregnancy test if there is any concern about potential pregnancy, despite your previous negative results.

In conclusion, while some changes in discharge can be normal, the presence of significant abdominal pain and the context of your recent sexual activity necessitate a professional evaluation to rule out any serious conditions and to provide appropriate treatment. Please consider scheduling an appointment with your healthcare provider as soon as possible to address these concerns.
