Is there a possibility of pregnancy?

I haven't had my period, but the last one came after 38 days, and the one before that was 34 days.
I had intercourse with my boyfriend on the 26th, but he only inserted about one-third and did not fully penetrate.
He also used a condom and did not ejaculate.
My hymen has not broken.
Now it has been 34 days, and I still haven't gotten my period.
Is it possible that I am pregnant, or is it just a delayed period?

More Info

When it comes to determining whether you might be pregnant, especially after a late period, there are several factors to consider. Based on the information you've provided, it seems that your menstrual cycle is somewhat irregular, with your last two cycles being 38 and 34 days long. This irregularity can make it more challenging to predict when your period is due.

Given that you had sexual intercourse with your boyfriend, even if it was only partial penetration and he used a condom, there is still a possibility of pregnancy. While condoms are effective at preventing pregnancy when used correctly, they are not 100% foolproof. Sperm can sometimes escape during intercourse, especially if the condom is not fitted properly or if it breaks. Additionally, pre-ejaculate fluid (pre-cum) can contain sperm, which means that even if he did not ejaculate inside you, there is still a small risk of pregnancy.

Since you mentioned that your period is now 34 days late, it would be wise to take a home pregnancy test. These tests are designed to detect the hormone hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), which is produced when a fertilized egg implants in the uterus. The best time to take a pregnancy test is after your period is missed, as this increases the accuracy of the result. If the test is positive, it would indicate that you are likely pregnant. If it is negative and your period still does not arrive, you may want to consult a healthcare provider for further evaluation.

It's also important to consider other factors that could cause a delayed period. Stress, changes in weight, illness, or hormonal imbalances can all affect your menstrual cycle. If you have been experiencing significant stress or changes in your lifestyle, this could also be a reason for your late period.

In summary, while there is a possibility of pregnancy given the circumstances, it is essential to take a home pregnancy test to confirm your status. If you have any concerns or if the test is positive, it would be advisable to schedule an appointment with a healthcare provider for further guidance and support. They can help you understand your options and provide you with the necessary care moving forward. Remember, it’s always better to seek professional advice when it comes to matters of reproductive health.
