I have been prone to overthinking since childhood, which often leads to feelings of anxiety.

I also have a habit of subconsciously peeling the skin on my right thumb, causing it to thicken significantly.
I summarize my symptoms as follows: 1.
If someone slightly ignores me or changes their facial expression, I immediately assume they are upset with me or that I have done something wrong.

When tasks come my way, I feel anxious and want to complete them as quickly as possible.

During long car rides, I often think about news reports of accidents and worry that something similar might happen to me.

I frequently worry about future events that have not yet occurred.

Most importantly, I easily feel tense or even panicked, especially during thunderstorms or strong winds, like during typhoons.
I know in my mind that I am safe and that nothing can harm me, but for some reason, I still feel very anxious and tense, to the point where I can't eat and break into a cold sweat.

I have been dealing with irritable bowel syndrome for a long time; it is usually manageable, but it worsens during the rainy season and typhoons.
Recently, I have tried exposure therapy, but I still feel nervous.
I am not sure what I am afraid of; perhaps it is the loud noises that make me anxious.
