After riding my bike in the afternoon, I woke up in the middle of the night with a sore throat?


I rode my bike from around 4 PM to after 7 PM.
Since I haven't ridden in a long time and I went quite far and fast, I was actually quite breathless along the way.
I drank cold sports drinks while riding, and at the finish line, I had some cold tofu pudding because it was really hot.
I'm not sure if that's why, but I woke up around 2 AM with a sore throat (although I didn't feel anything until after riding and before sleeping).
The pain is really bad, so I took loquat syrup, but it didn't seem to help...
I also took pain relievers, but they didn't have much effect either.
Now my throat really hurts, to the point where I can't sleep, but I don't have symptoms like a runny nose or cough—just a sore throat (along with general muscle soreness).
What could be causing my sore throat? How should I manage it since I can't see a doctor right now?
