Masturbation issues?

I usually go to bed at 2 AM and wake up at 9 AM (about 7 hours of sleep).
When I masturbate, I initially feel fine, but after a while, I start to feel quite tired.
However, by the time I ejaculate, I no longer feel tired.
Although I do feel a bit fatigued after ejaculation, it is nowhere near as exhausting as during masturbation.
I experience a similar situation when playing basketball.
Additionally, I tend to feel more energetic when I masturbate at night.
Is this a sign of physical weakness or overexertion, or could it indicate some kind of illness?
Also, I have another question: when I am close to ejaculation during masturbation, I can hold back, but I notice a slight decrease in penile rigidity.
What can I do to maintain hardness? Should I consider physical exercise or something else?

Hello: Focus on diet and exercise.
Maintain a light diet that is not too oily, and engage in activities like walking or jogging; intense workouts are not recommended.
Wishing you good health.

Understanding fatigue and erection issues related to masturbation can be complex and multifaceted. It’s important to recognize that both physical and psychological factors can play significant roles in these experiences.

First, let’s address the fatigue you feel during masturbation. It’s not uncommon for individuals to experience a sense of fatigue or tiredness during sexual arousal and activity. This can be attributed to several factors:
1. Physical Exertion: Masturbation, like any physical activity, requires energy. If you are engaging in prolonged sessions, it can lead to temporary fatigue. However, many people report feeling energized after ejaculation, which is likely due to the release of endorphins and other neurochemicals that promote feelings of pleasure and relaxation.

2. Hormonal Changes: During sexual arousal and ejaculation, there are significant hormonal changes in the body. The release of hormones like oxytocin and prolactin can lead to feelings of relaxation and fatigue post-ejaculation. This is a normal physiological response.

3. Sleep Patterns: Your sleep schedule, going to bed at 2 AM and waking up at 9 AM, provides you with about 7 hours of sleep, which is generally adequate for most adults. However, if your sleep quality is poor or if you are not getting enough restorative sleep, this could contribute to feelings of fatigue during the day, including during masturbation.

4. Psychological Factors: Stress, anxiety, and other emotional states can also impact your energy levels and how you feel during sexual activities. If you are preoccupied with thoughts or concerns, this could lead to feelings of fatigue.

Regarding your observation that you feel more energetic after masturbation, this is also common. The release of sexual tension can lead to a feeling of relaxation and well-being, which might explain why you feel better afterward.

Now, concerning the issue of maintaining erection hardness during masturbation, this can be influenced by several factors:
1. Arousal Levels: If you are trying to hold off ejaculation, it’s natural for arousal levels to fluctuate, which can affect erection hardness. The body may respond to the psychological pressure of wanting to delay ejaculation by reducing blood flow to the penis, leading to a softer erection.

2. Physical Conditioning: Regular physical exercise can improve overall blood circulation, which is beneficial for erectile function. Engaging in cardiovascular exercises, strength training, and pelvic floor exercises (like Kegel exercises) can enhance your sexual health and help maintain erection hardness.

3. Mindfulness and Relaxation Techniques: Sometimes, anxiety about performance can lead to decreased arousal. Practicing mindfulness or relaxation techniques can help you stay in the moment and reduce performance anxiety, which may help maintain erection hardness.

4. Healthy Lifestyle Choices: Maintaining a balanced diet, staying hydrated, and avoiding excessive alcohol or recreational drugs can also contribute to better sexual health and performance.

If you find that these issues persist or worsen, it may be beneficial to consult a healthcare professional. They can provide personalized advice and assess whether there are underlying health issues that need to be addressed. Remember, sexual health is an important aspect of overall well-being, and seeking help is a positive step towards understanding and improving your situation.
