Can I get pregnant?

On October 13, I had sexual intercourse without a condom at first, then withdrew and put on a condom to continue.
After that, my period was 8 days late.
I took a pregnancy test on October 26, which showed one line, and tested again the next morning on October 27, still one line.
My menstrual period started in the afternoon, with a normal amount of dark red blood.
On the morning of October 28, the bleeding was heavy, but by October 29, the amount returned to what it usually is.
My period ended on October 31, but from October 17 and 18 until early November, I experienced dizziness, slight nausea, swollen gums, and increased discharge, which was sometimes clear with a yellow tint and sometimes white and sticky.
I am very worried about whether I might actually be pregnant.
I took another pregnancy test on November 4, and it still showed one line.

I would like to ask the doctor:
Q1: Could these symptoms be caused by excessive stress?
Q2: Since the pregnancy tests after sexual intercourse and before my period all showed one line, and I got my period 14 days after intercourse, and tested negative again after my period, can I be assured that I do not need to worry about being pregnant?

After that, the menstrual period was delayed by 8 days.
A pregnancy test on October 26 showed one line, and another test on the morning of October 27 also showed one line.
In the afternoon, menstruation started, which was a normal amount of dark red blood.
On the morning of October 28, the bleeding was heavy, but by October 29, the blood flow returned to normal.
The menstrual period ended on October 31, but from October 17 and 18 until early November, there were symptoms of dizziness, slight nausea, swollen gums, and increased discharge, which was sometimes clear with a yellow tint and sometimes white and sticky.
There is concern about whether there could be a pregnancy.
A pregnancy test on November 4 still showed one line.

I would like to ask the doctor:
Q1: Could the symptoms be caused by excessive stress?
Ans: Yes.

Q2: If pregnancy tests after sexual intercourse show one line before the menstrual period, and the menstrual period starts on the 14th day after intercourse and ends with another negative test, can I be assured that there is no concern about pregnancy?
Ans: Yes.

More Info

Based on the information provided, it appears that you have a number of concerns regarding the possibility of pregnancy following your recent sexual activity and the subsequent symptoms you have experienced. Let's address your questions systematically.

Q1: Could the symptoms be due to stress?
Yes, the symptoms you are experiencing, such as dizziness, nausea, and changes in vaginal discharge, can indeed be influenced by stress. Stress can have a significant impact on your body, leading to various physical symptoms. It can affect your hormonal balance, which in turn can lead to changes in your menstrual cycle, mood swings, and even gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea. Additionally, stress can exacerbate pre-existing conditions, such as anxiety or hormonal imbalances, which may also contribute to the symptoms you are experiencing.

Q2: Should you be concerned about pregnancy given the test results?
From what you've described, it seems that you have taken multiple pregnancy tests, all of which have returned negative results (indicated by a single line). The fact that you had your menstrual period, which was normal in flow and duration, further supports the likelihood that you are not pregnant.
Typically, a pregnancy test is most accurate when taken after a missed period, as it measures the hormone hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), which is produced during pregnancy. Since you had a normal menstrual period on October 27, and subsequent tests on November 4 also returned negative, it is reasonable to conclude that you are not pregnant.

Additional Considerations
1. Menstrual Irregularities: It's important to note that menstrual cycles can be affected by various factors, including stress, hormonal changes, and lifestyle factors. If your period was delayed by eight days, it could have been due to stress or other factors unrelated to pregnancy.

2. Symptoms Post-Menstruation: The symptoms you are experiencing after your period, such as dizziness and changes in discharge, could be due to hormonal fluctuations or other non-pregnancy-related issues. If these symptoms persist or worsen, it would be advisable to consult a healthcare provider for further evaluation.

3. Dental Health: The swollen gums you mentioned could be a sign of gingivitis or another dental issue, which is not uncommon and can be exacerbated by hormonal changes. It's important to maintain good oral hygiene and consult a dentist if the problem persists.

4. Follow-Up: If you continue to experience unusual symptoms or if your menstrual cycle remains irregular, it would be wise to consult with a healthcare professional. They can provide a thorough evaluation and determine if any underlying issues need to be addressed.

In summary, based on the negative pregnancy tests and the arrival of your menstrual period, it is unlikely that you are pregnant. However, if you have ongoing concerns about your symptoms or menstrual cycle, seeking medical advice would be beneficial for peace of mind and overall health.
