Hello doctor, I have been experiencing issues with constipation for a long time, but the day before yesterday I started vomiting and lost my appetite.
Then yesterday I began to have diarrhea; at first, it was thick and dark.
I had no appetite and could only force myself to eat a little porridge, but after eating, I had to rush to the bathroom again.
Today, I can clearly hear my intestines moving loudly, and I have watery diarrhea that is yellow in color, but I did manage to eat today.

More Info

It sounds like you are experiencing a complex set of gastrointestinal symptoms, including vomiting, diarrhea, and loss of appetite, which can be quite distressing. Based on the information you've provided, it seems that you may be dealing with a gastrointestinal infection or a functional gastrointestinal disorder, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
Firstly, let's break down your symptoms. Vomiting and diarrhea can often occur together, especially in cases of viral or bacterial infections. These infections can lead to inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, causing symptoms like nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. The fact that you mentioned your stool was initially dark and then transitioned to a watery yellow suggests that your body is trying to expel whatever irritant or pathogen is present in your system.
Loss of appetite is also common during gastrointestinal distress, as your body may not feel ready to digest food, especially if you are experiencing nausea or discomfort. Eating bland foods, such as rice or plain toast, can sometimes help settle your stomach. However, it’s important to stay hydrated, especially if you are experiencing diarrhea, as this can lead to dehydration. Drinking clear fluids, such as water or electrolyte solutions, is crucial.

Given that you have a history of constipation (referred to as "宿便" or "stool retention"), it’s possible that your gastrointestinal tract is reacting to a buildup of stool or an imbalance in gut flora. This can sometimes lead to a cycle of symptoms where constipation alternates with diarrhea, a phenomenon often seen in IBS.
In terms of management, here are some recommendations:
1. Hydration: Ensure you are drinking plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration. Oral rehydration solutions can be particularly beneficial if you are losing a lot of fluids through diarrhea.

2. Diet: Start with a bland diet. Foods like bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast (often referred to as the BRAT diet) can help. Avoid spicy, fatty, or dairy-rich foods until your symptoms improve.

3. Probiotics: Consider incorporating probiotics into your diet, as they can help restore the balance of good bacteria in your gut, especially after an episode of diarrhea.

4. Monitor Symptoms: Keep track of your symptoms. If you notice blood in your stool, persistent vomiting, or if your symptoms worsen, it’s important to seek medical attention promptly.

5. Consult a Healthcare Provider: Given the severity and duration of your symptoms, it would be wise to consult with a healthcare provider. They may recommend tests to rule out infections, inflammatory bowel disease, or other gastrointestinal disorders.

6. Stress Management: If you suspect that stress or anxiety may be contributing to your symptoms, consider stress-reduction techniques such as mindfulness, yoga, or counseling.

In conclusion, while your symptoms may be indicative of a temporary gastrointestinal upset, it’s essential to monitor your condition closely and seek medical advice if your symptoms persist or worsen. Gastrointestinal health is complex, and sometimes a multifaceted approach is necessary to address the underlying issues effectively.
