The issue of masturbation?
Hello doctor, I have searched for articles but couldn't find anything like my situation: One day in fifth grade, while I was masturbating, I felt a sensation of impact in the back of my head (something similar).
After a while (less than 10 minutes), a colorless, odorless, and sticky fluid was released.
My penis length is about 1.2 centimeters, and I have not experienced nocturnal emissions (in the past).
I hope you can tell me if this is harmful.
I am now in sixth grade.

Masturbation is a natural behavior that can occur during preadolescence and adolescence as children begin to explore their bodies and understand their sexual feelings. From a urological perspective, it is important to recognize that masturbation is generally considered a normal part of human sexuality and development.
In preteens, the experience of masturbation can vary widely. The sensations you described, such as feeling a "shock" in the back of your head and the release of a clear, sticky fluid, are not uncommon. This fluid is likely pre-ejaculatory fluid, which can be released from the penis during sexual arousal, even before ejaculation occurs. It is important to note that at your age, the body is still developing, and the hormonal changes that lead to sexual maturation are beginning to take place.
There are no harmful effects associated with masturbation in moderation. It is a safe and normal activity that many people engage in. However, it is essential to approach the topic with an understanding of personal boundaries and privacy. Masturbation should be a private act, and it is important to ensure that it does not interfere with daily life, responsibilities, or social interactions.
As you continue to grow and develop, your body will undergo many changes, and your understanding of sexuality will evolve. It is also normal to have questions and curiosities about your body and sexual health. If you have concerns or questions about your experiences, it may be helpful to speak with a trusted adult, such as a parent or healthcare provider, who can provide guidance and support.
In summary, masturbation is a normal behavior for preteens and adolescents, and the sensations you experienced are part of the natural exploration of your body. It is essential to maintain a healthy attitude towards your body and sexuality, and to seek information from reliable sources when you have questions. If you ever feel uncomfortable or have concerns about your sexual health, do not hesitate to reach out to a healthcare professional for advice.
