Tonsil stones
Hello Doctor: I have a sensation of something stuck in my throat, and upon looking in the mirror, I discovered a tonsil stone that is visibly lodged there.
I can confirm it is a tonsil stone.
I have experienced similar situations in the past, but this particular one is very stubborn.
No matter how much I gargle or cough, and despite trying to suction it out or gently poke it with a cotton swab dipped in water, it remains stuck.
Additionally, I am currently pregnant (around 25 weeks), and I would like to know if it will eventually dislodge on its own.
Are there any methods to encourage it to come out? Touching deeper areas with a cotton swab triggers a gag reflex, which causes discomfort in my abdomen.

Hello, if you do not have any special discomfort, you can rinse your mouth more often to see if it will come off on its own.
If it cannot be removed by itself, it is recommended to visit an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) clinic for a physician to handle it.
