Improper use of mouthwash can lead to a decrease in taste sensation?
Due to improper use of mouthwash, holding it in the mouth for too long, 2 to 3 times a day for about five minutes each time over the course of two days, I suddenly noticed a decrease in my ability to taste salty flavors.
Other tastes are still somewhat detectable but have also slightly diminished.
I have immediately stopped using the mouthwash, and it has been two days without significant improvement.
