Can I get pregnant?

Hello, my period started on November 14, and I had unprotected intercourse on November 22, but there was no ejaculation.
On November 28, I used a condom throughout.
Since then, I've often felt the urge to urinate, which has led to a urinary tract infection.
My period is approaching again; sometimes it is very regular, sometimes it comes early, and sometimes it is delayed.
Recently, I've been feeling very sleepy, dizzy, and have a bloated stomach with slight nausea, but I can still eat food.
I usually don't eat much, and I often pass gas and have diarrhea.
There is no bleeding from my private area.
Could I be at risk of pregnancy?

Based on the details you've provided, it seems you are experiencing a mix of symptoms and concerns regarding the possibility of pregnancy after engaging in unprotected sexual activity. Let's break down your situation and address your concerns regarding pregnancy risks and symptoms.

First, it's important to clarify the circumstances of your sexual activity. You mentioned having unprotected sex on November 22, but you did not ejaculate inside. This is a crucial detail because the risk of pregnancy is significantly lower when ejaculation does not occur inside the vagina. However, it is worth noting that pre-ejaculate fluid (pre-cum) can contain sperm, albeit in lower quantities. If there was any contact with pre-ejaculate fluid near the vaginal opening, there is a slight risk of pregnancy, but it is generally considered low.

You also mentioned that you had protected sex on November 28, which further reduces the likelihood of pregnancy from the earlier encounter. Condoms are effective at preventing pregnancy when used correctly, so if the condom did not break or slip, this should provide you with additional reassurance.

Now, regarding your symptoms: feeling tired, experiencing dizziness, bloating, nausea, and changes in bowel habits can be concerning, but they are not definitive indicators of pregnancy. Many of these symptoms can be attributed to various factors, including hormonal fluctuations related to your menstrual cycle, stress, dietary changes, or even a mild gastrointestinal issue. The fact that you are also experiencing urinary issues, which could indicate a urinary tract infection (UTI), adds another layer of complexity to your symptoms.

Given that your menstrual cycle can sometimes be irregular, it is not uncommon for periods to be delayed or come early. If your period is due soon and you are experiencing these symptoms, it may be wise to wait until your expected period date to see if it arrives. If your period is late by a week or more, taking a home pregnancy test would be a good next step. These tests are generally accurate and can provide you with clarity regarding your pregnancy status.

In summary, while there is a slight risk of pregnancy due to the unprotected encounter, the combination of subsequent protected sex and the absence of ejaculation reduces that risk significantly. Your current symptoms could be related to various non-pregnancy-related issues. If you remain concerned about your symptoms or if your period does not arrive as expected, consulting with a healthcare provider would be advisable. They can provide a more thorough evaluation and, if necessary, conduct a pregnancy test or other assessments to address your concerns.
In the meantime, try to manage any stress you may be feeling, as anxiety can also contribute to physical symptoms. Remember that many factors can influence your menstrual cycle and overall health, and seeking professional advice can help you navigate these uncertainties.
