Will this lead to pregnancy?

Hello, my boyfriend and I placed his penis near my vaginal opening on December 24th, but he did not ejaculate.
Additionally, we also rubbed our genitals near my clitoris.
Could this lead to pregnancy? At that time, I was on my period for five days, and my menstrual cycle is irregular.
I still haven't gotten my period, and I'm wondering if it's due to the stress of final exams and my ongoing fear of being pregnant.

Hello, the questioner: There is a possibility of pregnancy even without ejaculation during intercourse, as pre-ejaculatory fluid may contain sperm.
Many factors can influence the menstrual cycle or cause bleeding outside of the menstrual period, such as age, environment, lifestyle, stress, emotional instability, weight changes, medications, emergency contraceptive pills, diet, and polycystic ovary syndrome.
It is recommended to check for pregnancy if your period is more than a week late.
Thank you! Wishing you peace and health.

The question of whether pregnancy can occur from precum (pre-ejaculate fluid) and genital friction is a common concern among sexually active individuals. To address your question, it is important to understand how pregnancy occurs and the factors involved in conception.

Pregnancy typically occurs when sperm fertilizes an egg. Sperm can be present in precum, although in much lower concentrations than in ejaculate. The risk of pregnancy from precum is generally considered low, but it is not zero. If there is any sperm present in the precum, and it comes into contact with the vaginal canal, there is a possibility of sperm traveling to the egg, especially if ovulation is occurring around the same time.

In your situation, you mentioned that you engaged in genital friction and placed the penis near the vaginal opening without ejaculation. While the risk of pregnancy from this activity is lower than from full intercourse with ejaculation, it is still possible, particularly if precum contains viable sperm. Additionally, the timing of your menstrual cycle plays a crucial role. If you were close to ovulation when this activity occurred, the chances of pregnancy could increase.

You also noted that your menstrual cycle is irregular, which can complicate the situation. Irregular cycles can make it difficult to predict ovulation, and if you happened to ovulate shortly after the sexual activity, the risk of pregnancy would be higher. Stress, such as that from exams, can also affect your menstrual cycle, potentially causing delays or changes in your period.

If you are concerned about the possibility of being pregnant, the best course of action is to take a home pregnancy test. These tests are most accurate when taken after a missed period. If your period does not arrive, and the test is positive, it would be advisable to schedule an appointment with a healthcare provider for further evaluation and guidance.

In summary, while the risk of pregnancy from precum and genital friction is lower than from intercourse with ejaculation, it is not impossible. Factors such as the presence of sperm in precum, the timing of your menstrual cycle, and individual variations in fertility all contribute to the overall risk. If you have concerns about potential pregnancy or your menstrual cycle, consulting with a healthcare professional can provide you with personalized advice and support.
