Medications during pregnancy, antidepressants, and psychological counseling?

I would like to ask if the following medications will affect my ability to conceive: (Meisu tablet one tablet), (Otsuka Anri recovery tablet one tablet), (Furmin two tablets), (Sitinus two tablets), (Fanduo Shan two tablets).
Additionally, I would like to understand why I cannot maintain a job for more than four months.
There was an instance where I was explicitly told that I was terminated due to depression (which led to self-harm).
In my current job, after two months, I started to overthink whether my supervisor dislikes me or what I might be doing wrong at work.
My emotional regulation is poor, and I often feel down and do not want to talk while working.
Is this related to my depression? I previously took Yuekang, one tablet in the morning and one in the evening, but it was discontinued due to my tendency towards bipolar disorder.
(Since I am not good at verbal communication, I am seeking online consultation.)

Hello, I would like to ask if the following medications will affect my fertility: (Meisu tablet one tablet) (Otsuka Amway Recovery tablet one tablet) (Furmelin two tablets) (Sitinose two tablets) (Fanduo Shan two tablets).
A: Meisu is a pregnancy category B medication, which has shown no adverse effects on the fetus in animal studies.
Furmelin is confirmed to have adverse effects on the fetus and is classified as a pregnancy category D medication.
The others are likely pregnancy category C medications, which may have some potential effects on the fetus.

Additionally, I would like to ask why I cannot maintain a job for more than four months.
I was once explicitly told that I was terminated due to depression (which led to self-harm).
In my current job, after two months, I started to overthink whether my supervisor dislikes me or what I am doing wrong.
I have poor emotional regulation, and sometimes I feel low and don’t want to talk at work.
Is this related to my depression? I previously took Yuekang one in the morning and one in the evening, but it was discontinued due to manic tendencies.
A: This may be related to your depressive symptoms.
If you experienced manic tendencies while taking Yuekang, it is important to consider whether you might actually have bipolar disorder.
You should discuss with your physician whether treatment with mood stabilizers is appropriate.

The impact of antidepressants on pregnancy and the associated mental health challenges is a complex and nuanced topic that requires careful consideration. First, it's essential to understand that mental health is a critical aspect of overall well-being, especially during pregnancy. The hormonal changes and physical demands of pregnancy can exacerbate pre-existing mental health conditions, including depression and anxiety.
When it comes to the specific medications you mentioned, it’s important to consult with a healthcare provider for personalized advice. However, I can provide some general information about the medications you listed and their potential implications for pregnancy.

1. Antidepressants and Pregnancy: Many antidepressants fall into different categories based on their safety during pregnancy. For instance, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) like fluoxetine (Prozac) are often prescribed during pregnancy, but they come with potential risks. Some studies suggest that SSRIs may be associated with a slight increase in the risk of certain complications, such as preterm birth or low birth weight. However, untreated depression during pregnancy can also lead to adverse outcomes, including poor prenatal care, increased risk of postpartum depression, and potential developmental issues for the child. Therefore, the decision to continue or discontinue antidepressants during pregnancy should be made collaboratively with a healthcare provider, weighing the risks and benefits.

2. Mental Health Challenges: Your experience of being unable to maintain employment for extended periods and the feelings of self-harm are significant indicators of underlying mental health issues, likely related to your depression. It's common for individuals with depression to experience difficulties in emotional regulation, leading to feelings of inadequacy, anxiety about job performance, and interpersonal conflicts. These symptoms can create a cycle of negative thoughts and behaviors that further exacerbate mental health conditions.

3. Workplace Dynamics: The perception that your supervisor may not like you or that you are not performing well can be intensified by the cognitive distortions often associated with depression. Individuals with depression may misinterpret social cues or perceive neutral interactions as negative, leading to increased anxiety and withdrawal from social situations, including the workplace. This can create a feedback loop where the stress of work exacerbates your mental health symptoms, making it even harder to perform effectively.

4. Seeking Help: It’s crucial to seek professional help, especially since you mentioned a history of self-harm and the challenges you face in managing your emotions. A mental health professional can provide therapy options, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), which is effective in treating depression and anxiety. They can also help you navigate the complexities of medication management, particularly if you are considering pregnancy.

5. Communication: Since you mentioned that you are not comfortable with verbal communication, consider exploring different forms of therapy that might suit you better, such as writing therapy or online counseling. Many therapists offer telehealth services, which can provide a more comfortable environment for discussing sensitive topics.

In conclusion, managing mental health during pregnancy is vital for both the mother and the child. It’s essential to work closely with healthcare providers to find the best approach to treatment, whether that involves medication, therapy, or a combination of both. Remember, you are not alone in this journey, and seeking help is a courageous and important step towards improving your mental health and overall well-being.
