Hello, doctor.
I have been masturbating since the sixth grade, and now I am in the ninth grade.
Recently, I noticed that after I masturbate, I experience a burning sensation in my urethra when I urinate.
I'm not sure if it's due to a bacterial infection on my hands, but it usually resolves in a few days.
However, I am still a bit concerned.
Additionally, I have noticed a white bump on my penis that looks like a pimple.
I can squeeze it out, but it keeps coming back after a few days.
Should I be particularly concerned about this?

Hello: Regarding your situation, 1) You recently noticed a burning sensation in the urethra after masturbation --> You should seek medical examination (if you have had unsafe sexual practices, be sure to inform your doctor).
2) There is a white bump on your penis that resembles a pimple, which can be squeezed out but keeps reappearing after a few days.
Should you be particularly concerned? --> It may be a sebaceous gland; maintain cleanliness and dryness, and avoid tight underwear.
If the skin becomes red, you should see a doctor.
Wishing you good health.

Dear Patient,
Thank you for reaching out with your concerns regarding the burning sensation during urination and the skin issue you are experiencing on your penis. It's important to address these symptoms, as they can be indicative of underlying conditions that may require medical attention.

Firstly, the burning sensation you experience after masturbation could be due to several factors. One common cause is irritation of the urethra, which can occur from friction during masturbation. If you are using any lotions or lubricants, it's also possible that you may be having a reaction to those products. Additionally, if there is any infection present, such as a urinary tract infection (UTI) or sexually transmitted infection (STI), this could also lead to a burning sensation. While you mentioned that the burning sensation subsides after a few days, it is still advisable to monitor the situation closely. If the burning persists, worsens, or is accompanied by other symptoms such as unusual discharge, fever, or changes in urination, seeking medical evaluation would be prudent.

Regarding the white bumps that resemble pimples on your penis, these could be a few different things. One possibility is that they are pearly penile papules, which are harmless and common in many men. They typically do not require treatment unless they cause discomfort or concern. However, if these bumps are painful, itchy, or change in appearance, it is essential to have them evaluated by a healthcare professional. Conditions such as folliculitis, genital warts, or other skin infections could present similarly and would require appropriate diagnosis and management.

In terms of hygiene, it is crucial to maintain proper genital hygiene to prevent infections. This includes washing the area gently with mild soap and water, avoiding harsh chemicals or irritants, and ensuring that the area is dry after washing. If you are concerned about bacteria on your hands, practicing good hand hygiene before touching your genital area is essential.

Lastly, while it is common for young men to experience various skin and urological concerns, it is always best to err on the side of caution. If you have ongoing symptoms or if you notice any changes in your body that concern you, do not hesitate to consult a healthcare provider. They can perform a thorough examination, possibly run some tests, and provide you with a definitive diagnosis and treatment plan tailored to your needs.

In summary, while some of your symptoms may be benign, it is essential to remain vigilant and consult with a healthcare professional if you have any doubts or if your symptoms persist. Your health and peace of mind are paramount, and seeking medical advice is always a wise choice when it comes to your well-being.

Take care, and I wish you good health.

Best regards.
