Forehead and eyebrow pain, headache?
Recently, for about 1-2 months, I've been feeling a lot of discomfort in the area between my eyes and eyebrows.
I have difficulty concentrating and sometimes feel dizzy, along with occasional headaches.
Today, I feel swelling above my right eye, and the headache is located slightly above my temple.
Pressing on both sides of my head causes pain.
I have undergone examinations, but no cause has been identified.
This situation is very troubling for me, and I'm unsure if there is an underlying issue.
I experience similar discomfort almost every day.
I kindly ask for your assistance, thank you.

More Info
Your symptoms of eyebrow pain, headaches, and difficulty concentrating can be quite distressing, and it's understandable that you're seeking clarity on what might be causing these issues. Based on the information you've provided, there are several potential neurological and ophthalmological conditions that could be contributing to your discomfort.
First, let's consider the possibility of tension-type headaches. These headaches are often characterized by a feeling of tightness or pressure around the forehead or temples, which can sometimes extend to the areas around the eyes. They can be triggered by stress, lack of sleep, or prolonged periods of screen time, which can lead to eye strain. Given that you mentioned difficulty concentrating and feelings of dizziness, it’s possible that your headaches are tension-related, especially if they tend to occur after long hours of work or study.
Another potential cause could be migraines. Migraines can present with unilateral (one-sided) pain, often accompanied by visual disturbances such as aura, which might explain your difficulty focusing. Migraines can also cause nausea and sensitivity to light, which could be contributing to your overall discomfort. If your headaches are accompanied by these symptoms, it would be worth discussing the possibility of migraines with a healthcare professional.
Additionally, the swelling you described above your right eye could indicate a sinus issue. Sinusitis, or inflammation of the sinuses, can lead to pressure and pain in the forehead and around the eyes, often exacerbated by changes in position or pressure. If you have had any recent upper respiratory infections or allergies, this could be a contributing factor.
Given that you have already sought medical attention without a definitive diagnosis, it may be beneficial to revisit your healthcare provider or seek a second opinion, particularly from a neurologist or an ophthalmologist. They may recommend imaging studies, such as an MRI or CT scan, to rule out any structural issues or neurological conditions that could be causing your symptoms.
In the meantime, there are several self-care strategies you can employ to help alleviate your symptoms. Regular breaks from screens, practicing good posture, and ensuring you stay hydrated can help reduce tension headaches. Additionally, stress management techniques such as mindfulness, yoga, or gentle stretching may also provide relief.
If you find that your symptoms persist or worsen, it is crucial to continue advocating for your health. Persistent headaches and visual disturbances warrant thorough investigation, as they can sometimes indicate underlying conditions that require treatment. Don't hesitate to express your concerns to your healthcare provider, and ensure that you receive the appropriate follow-up care.
In summary, while your symptoms could be related to tension-type headaches, migraines, or sinus issues, a thorough evaluation by a specialist is essential to determine the exact cause and appropriate treatment. Your health and well-being are paramount, and seeking the right care is a crucial step in addressing your concerns.
