Masturbation issues and concerns?
I am currently 14 years old and in the first year of junior high school, and I have a habit of masturbating daily.
I would like to know if daily masturbation could cause any health issues now or in the future, and whether it could be considered excessive.
I have been doing this daily for 1 to 2 years without any problems.
Additionally, I have noticed small white bumps on the outer side of my foreskin, which appear in two small clusters.
I am unsure what this issue might be, as it seems to have been present for several years, but I have not experienced any problems.
(I have previously undergone a circumcision due to phimosis.)

Hello: The information provided here is for reference only.
I have small white bumps on the outer side of my foreskin, grouped in two clusters, and I'm not sure what the issue is.
If there has been no unsafe sexual behavior, these are likely glandular in nature and are usually not a concern.
If they increase in size or number, it is advisable to seek medical attention and maintain cleanliness and dryness.
Wishing you good health.

More Info
Masturbation is a common behavior among adolescents and is often a topic surrounded by myths and misconceptions. At 14 years old, it's normal to have questions about your sexual health and practices, including masturbation. Let's address your concerns regarding the frequency of masturbation, potential health issues, and the white spots you mentioned.
Frequency of Masturbation
Masturbation is a natural and normal activity for many teenagers. It can serve as a way to explore your body, understand your sexual feelings, and relieve sexual tension. The frequency of masturbation varies widely among individuals. For some, daily masturbation is common, while others may do it less frequently.
Research indicates that masturbation, in moderation, is generally considered safe and does not lead to any long-term health issues. However, if you find that your masturbation habits are interfering with your daily life, responsibilities, or relationships, it may be worth considering whether you want to adjust the frequency.
Health Concerns
Regarding health concerns, there is no evidence to suggest that daily masturbation is harmful to your physical health. It does not cause infertility, erectile dysfunction, or any other serious health problems. However, if you experience pain, discomfort, or any unusual symptoms during or after masturbation, it would be wise to consult a healthcare professional.
The White Spots on the Penis
The white spots you mentioned on the outer side of your foreskin could be a few different things. One common cause is pearly penile papules, which are small, harmless bumps that can appear around the head of the penis. They are a normal anatomical variation and not a sign of any disease.
Another possibility could be Fordyce spots, which are small, painless, pale bumps that can appear on the shaft of the penis and are also completely normal. However, if you are unsure or if these spots change in appearance, become painful, or are accompanied by other symptoms (like itching or discharge), it is important to see a healthcare provider for a proper diagnosis.
Conclusion
In summary, masturbation is a normal part of adolescent development, and doing it daily is not inherently harmful unless it disrupts your life. The white spots you see are likely normal variations, but if you have concerns, a visit to a healthcare professional can provide peace of mind.
It's essential to maintain open communication with a trusted adult or healthcare provider about your sexual health and any questions you may have. They can provide accurate information and support as you navigate these changes during your teenage years. Remember, understanding your body and health is a crucial part of growing up, and seeking information is a positive step towards that understanding.
