I have been experiencing inflammation of my tongue intermittently for three years, and the affected area has now atrophied, resembling geographic tongue and fungiform papillae inflammation.
I have taken B vitamins without improvement and have consulted a physician who performed a physical examination and stated that everything appears normal.
Since last month, I have been experiencing fever, which has become unbearable.
I suspect I might be zinc deficient, so I started taking zinc supplements.
Although my symptoms have not completely resolved, they have significantly decreased, and the atrophied area is now only a small spot.
Additionally, I no longer have anal fissures.
However, I have noticed a decrease in libido; previously, I would become erect with minimal stimulation, but after taking zinc, I have experienced reduced sensitivity.
It has only improved slightly in the past couple of days.
What do you think about my situation? Do you think I have a zinc deficiency, and could the decrease in libido be related to my body starting to heal?
