I wore a pulse oximeter to monitor my blood oxygen levels and heart rate throughout the night.
I found that I slept for about 6 hours, and my heart rate was mostly in the 60s, but there were approximately 35 to 40 instances where my heart rate reached or exceeded 90 beats per minute during sleep.
Is this heart rate during sleep considered abnormal? If it is abnormal, what is the normal range for heart rate during sleep? Could this lead to heart disease over time, such as cardiomyopathy or other conditions?
