Congenital premature ejaculation
Thank you for the doctor's response.
I have noticed that if I refrain from masturbation for more than a day, I tend to ejaculate within one to two minutes during masturbation.
Is this a concern? (Regarding congenital premature ejaculation) I feel that it may not be related to the sensitivity of my glans, as I do not find it sensitive before masturbation.
Could this really be an issue related to my innate physiology?

Hello, Gray Wolf: Because you are young and have ample ammunition, it is normal to find it difficult to hold back during moments of heightened emotions.
This is a common experience and will change as you age.
There is no need to worry; after you turn 40, your libido will likely decrease, and everything will become more manageable.
I hope this answers your question.

Understanding congenital premature ejaculation (CPE) can be quite complex, as it involves a combination of physiological, psychological, and sometimes even genetic factors. Premature ejaculation is generally defined as the inability to delay ejaculation during sexual activity, leading to distress for one or both partners. When it occurs consistently and is not due to situational factors, it may be classified as a sexual dysfunction.
In your case, you mentioned that after a day without masturbation, you find yourself ejaculating within one to two minutes during masturbation. This could suggest a few things. First, it’s important to note that the frequency of sexual activity can influence ejaculation timing. When there is a longer gap between sexual activities, the body may respond differently, potentially leading to quicker ejaculation due to heightened arousal or sensitivity.
You also mentioned that you do not feel heightened sensitivity in your glans (the head of the penis) prior to masturbation. This is an interesting observation, as sensitivity can vary greatly among individuals and can be influenced by various factors, including psychological state, level of arousal, and even hormonal influences. While some men may experience increased sensitivity leading to quicker ejaculation, others may not notice a significant difference.
Regarding the notion of congenital factors, it is indeed possible that some individuals may have a predisposition to premature ejaculation due to genetic or developmental factors. Research has suggested that certain neurobiological pathways and genetic markers may be involved in the regulation of ejaculation. However, it is essential to understand that while congenital factors may play a role, they are not the sole determinants of this condition.
If you are concerned about your experience, it may be beneficial to consider a few approaches:
1. Behavioral Techniques: Techniques such as the "stop-start" method or the "squeeze" technique can help you gain better control over ejaculation. These methods involve practicing control during masturbation and gradually applying them during sexual intercourse.
2. Consultation with a Specialist: If your concerns persist, consulting with a urologist or a sexual health specialist can provide you with tailored advice and potential treatment options. They can assess whether there are any underlying medical conditions contributing to your experience.
3. Psychological Factors: Sometimes, anxiety or stress related to sexual performance can exacerbate the issue. Engaging in relaxation techniques or speaking with a therapist specializing in sexual health may help alleviate some of these concerns.
4. Medication: In some cases, medications such as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) have been found to help delay ejaculation. However, this should only be considered after a thorough evaluation by a healthcare professional.
In conclusion, while your experience may suggest a pattern consistent with premature ejaculation, it is essential to approach the situation holistically. Factors such as frequency of sexual activity, psychological state, and individual physiological responses all play a role. If this issue is causing you distress or impacting your relationships, seeking professional guidance can be a constructive step toward understanding and managing your condition effectively.
