Yesterday, I received oral isotretinoin and topical L-ascorbic acid from the dermatologist for my skincare routine.
The doctor advised me to mix one drop of L-ascorbic acid with my moisturizer and apply it in the morning and evening.
However, I realized that I usually return home around 2 PM, take a shower, and rest.
In the past, I would wash my face with water in the morning and afternoon, and use a facial cleanser and moisturizer in the evening.
Now, if I wash my face at noon, will I wash away the L-ascorbic acid I applied in the morning, leaving my skin without any active ingredients until the evening? Would it be better not to wash my face at noon? As a guy, I find L-ascorbic acid to be quite expensive, so I would prefer to use it sparingly.
