Can I get pregnant?
On February 10, I had intercourse with my boyfriend without using a condom and there was no ejaculation.
My menstrual period started on the afternoon of February 23, with a normal flow, but in the following days, the discharge was dark brown, which later turned light brown.
I would like to ask the doctor if this could indicate pregnancy.
Recently, I have noticed a protrusion below my navel.
My last two menstrual periods were from January 27 to February 6 and from February 23 to March 5.

Hello, the questioner: There is a possibility of pregnancy even if ejaculation has not occurred during intercourse, as pre-ejaculatory fluid may contain sperm.
Additionally, early pregnancy does not always present specific symptoms, and subjective symptoms cannot be used to make a judgment.
It is recommended to check for pregnancy if your period is more than a week late.
Thank you! Wishing you peace and health.

More Info
Determining whether you are pregnant can be a complex process, especially when considering various symptoms and menstrual changes. Based on the information you've provided, let's break down the situation.
You mentioned having unprotected intercourse on February 10th, followed by a normal menstrual period starting on February 23rd. The timing of your menstrual cycle is crucial in assessing the likelihood of pregnancy. Typically, if you have a regular cycle, ovulation occurs about 14 days before your next period. Since your period started on February 23rd, ovulation would likely have occurred around February 9th, which is very close to the date of your intercourse. If you ovulated on February 9th, the chances of becoming pregnant from intercourse on February 10th would be relatively high, as sperm can live inside the female reproductive tract for up to five days.
However, you reported that your menstrual flow was normal during your period, which is a strong indicator that you are not pregnant. Menstrual bleeding typically indicates that the uterine lining is shedding, which occurs when a fertilized egg does not implant. The presence of deep brown discharge following your period could be attributed to several factors, including the tail end of your menstrual cycle, hormonal fluctuations, or even implantation bleeding if conception had occurred. However, given that you had a normal period, the likelihood of implantation bleeding is low.
The symptoms you described, such as a protrusion below your navel, could be related to various factors, including bloating, gas, or even changes in your body due to hormonal fluctuations during your menstrual cycle. It is not uncommon for women to experience changes in their bodies that can cause discomfort or unusual sensations, especially around the time of their period.
If you are concerned about the possibility of pregnancy, the most reliable way to confirm or rule out pregnancy is through a home pregnancy test. These tests are designed to detect the hormone hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), which is produced shortly after a fertilized egg implants in the uterus. For the most accurate results, it is advisable to take the test after your expected period date.
In summary, based on the information provided, it seems unlikely that you are pregnant, especially since you experienced a normal menstrual period following the intercourse. However, if you continue to have symptoms that concern you or if your menstrual cycle becomes irregular, it would be wise to consult with a healthcare professional. They can provide further evaluation and guidance based on your specific situation. Remember, every woman's body is different, and if you have any doubts or persistent symptoms, seeking medical advice is always a good step.
