Can I get pregnant? What is the probability?

On February 10, I had sexual intercourse with my boyfriend without a condom, and there was no ejaculation, but there was slight penetration.
We did not clean up immediately afterward.
On February 23, I got my period, which was normal in flow.
However, recently I have been feeling a protrusion below my navel, and I'm unsure if it's due to psychological factors.
Could I be pregnant? What is the likelihood? My previous two menstrual periods were from January 27 to February 6 and from February 23 to March 5.

When it comes to the question of whether you can get pregnant after engaging in sexual intercourse without a condom, even if there was no ejaculation, it's important to understand the mechanics of conception and the factors that influence pregnancy.

Firstly, pregnancy can occur if sperm comes into contact with the vaginal canal, even if ejaculation does not happen inside the vagina. This is due to the presence of pre-ejaculatory fluid (pre-cum), which can contain sperm. Although the likelihood of pregnancy from pre-ejaculatory fluid is lower than from full ejaculation, it is still a possibility. Given that you mentioned there was penetration, albeit minimal, there is a chance that sperm could have been introduced into the vaginal canal.

In your case, you had intercourse on February 10th and then got your period on February 23rd. The onset of your menstrual period is a strong indicator that you are not pregnant, as menstruation typically signifies that an egg was not fertilized and the body is shedding its uterine lining. The timing of your cycle also supports this; if your cycles are regular, ovulation likely occurred around mid-cycle, approximately 14 days before your next period. Since you had intercourse before your expected ovulation window, the chances of conception are reduced.

Regarding your concern about feeling a protrusion in your lower abdomen, it is essential to consider that psychological factors can significantly influence how we perceive our bodies. Anxiety about potential pregnancy can lead to heightened awareness of bodily sensations, which may not necessarily indicate pregnancy. However, if the protrusion persists or is accompanied by other symptoms such as pain or unusual discharge, it would be wise to consult a healthcare professional for a thorough evaluation.

To summarize, while there is a possibility of pregnancy from the scenario you described, the onset of your menstrual period is a strong indication that you are not pregnant. If you are still concerned about the possibility of pregnancy or if you experience any unusual symptoms, consider taking a home pregnancy test or consulting with a healthcare provider for further guidance. Regular check-ups and open communication with your healthcare provider can help address any concerns you may have regarding reproductive health and pregnancy.
