I have been experiencing dizziness upon waking up for the past ten days?
Hello, doctor! For the past ten days, I've been experiencing dizziness upon waking up (sometimes it's immediate, and other times it occurs about an hour after having breakfast).
I usually sleep around 6.5 to 7 hours and have tried balancing exercises, but I haven't noticed any instability.
After work, I take a short nap for about 30-40 minutes, which seems to help a bit.
On weekends, I’ve tried taking a one-hour nap after lunch, and that also seems to improve my condition, but about 2-3 hours later, before dinner, I start feeling dizzy again.
During these episodes, I also notice a significant decline in my memory; I forget things that happened just seconds ago or suddenly zone out at work for a few seconds, forgetting what I was supposed to do.
Sometimes I experience tight, painful sensations in my head (specifically at the top and forehead) and in both arms, where I often feel a tightness or pain in the upper arms and forearms, particularly around the elbow joint.
Additionally, I occasionally feel tightness and pain in my left and right chest areas near the armpits, and there’s a specific point near the left nipple that is painful when pressed.
Interestingly, I experienced similar symptoms about two years ago, with chest pain primarily on the left side near the nipple, but without the arm pain.
Back then, I would take a half-hour nap after work to recover, and after about six months, the symptoms resolved on their own.
