Is it implantation bleeding?

On June 16 and June 21, my girlfriend and I had sexual intercourse, and we used condoms throughout.
On June 16, I wiped her body and I’m unsure if I came into contact with any semen.
After wiping, I also touched her genital area (with penetration).
On June 25, after using the restroom, my girlfriend noticed some blood (similar in color to her menstrual period).
Could this be implantation bleeding? Her menstrual period is expected to arrive in the next few days, and she has occasionally experienced spotting before her period in the past.

Q1: What is the likelihood of pregnancy from the actions described?
Q2: Is this likely to be implantation bleeding?

Implantation bleeding is a phenomenon that can occur in early pregnancy, typically around the time when a fertilized egg attaches itself to the lining of the uterus. This usually happens about 6 to 12 days after conception, which can coincide with the expected time of a woman's menstrual period. In your case, since you had sexual intercourse on June 16 and 21, and your girlfriend noticed blood on June 25, it is within the timeframe where implantation bleeding could occur. However, there are several factors to consider regarding the likelihood of pregnancy and the nature of the bleeding.

Q1: Is there a significant chance of pregnancy from the described actions?
While you mentioned that you used condoms during intercourse, it is important to note that no contraceptive method is 100% effective. If the condom was used correctly and did not break or slip, the chances of pregnancy are significantly reduced. However, you mentioned that you wiped your girlfriend's body and then touched her genital area, which raises the question of whether any sperm could have been transferred. Sperm can survive for a short period outside the body, but the likelihood of achieving pregnancy through this indirect contact is quite low.
If your girlfriend has a regular menstrual cycle, the timing of her expected period and the occurrence of any bleeding could provide additional context. If her period is due around this time and she has a history of spotting before her period, this could also explain the blood she observed.
Q2: Could this be implantation bleeding?
The blood observed could potentially be implantation bleeding, especially if it is light and not accompanied by the heavier flow typical of a menstrual period. Implantation bleeding is usually characterized by light spotting that is often pink or brown in color, rather than bright red. Since your girlfriend has experienced spotting before her period in the past, it is also possible that this is simply a premenstrual symptom rather than implantation bleeding.

To further clarify the situation, it would be advisable for your girlfriend to take a home pregnancy test a few days after the expected date of her period. If she is pregnant, the test should show a positive result. If her period arrives as expected, it would indicate that she is not pregnant.

In summary, while there is a possibility of implantation bleeding, the circumstances you described suggest that the likelihood of pregnancy is relatively low, especially with the use of condoms. Monitoring her menstrual cycle and conducting a pregnancy test will provide clearer answers. If there are any concerns about the nature of the bleeding or if it is accompanied by pain or other unusual symptoms, it would be prudent for her to consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation.
