Fortunately, after about two months, the symptoms improved significantly.
At that time, you advised me to focus on good exercise and sleep.
Now, I’ve noticed that the tinnitus and heartbeat sounds have almost resolved, only appearing during times of sleep deprivation or premenstrual migraines.
Additionally, since my COVID-19 infection, I sometimes experience sudden fatigue accompanied by insomnia, and occasionally I feel chest tightness that requires deep breathing.
The psychosomatic medicine specialist mentioned that these symptoms are related to autonomic nervous system dysregulation.
However, since I need to take medication for the autonomic nervous system and it often makes me very drowsy, I plan to self-regulate.
I would like to ask if continuing to exercise and supplementing with B vitamins would be beneficial for me.
Also, at what point should I seek medical attention? For instance, would I need to see a doctor if I constantly hear my heartbeat, experience persistent chest tightness that doesn’t alleviate with deep breathing, or have ongoing insomnia? My current life is quite good, but I still feel like my body hasn’t fully returned to how it was before the COVID-19 infection.
