Masturbation issues?
I used to masturbate very frequently, but recently I have noticed that my masturbation sessions are getting longer.
I feel that my sensitivity to sexual stimulation is decreasing, and I usually need videos and manual stimulation to achieve an erection.
Although the erection is still as firm as before, it starts to diminish gradually after about 20 seconds of stopping stimulation.
Additionally, I have recently started taking 1mg of Finasteride.
Could this indicate erectile dysfunction?

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a condition that affects many men and can be influenced by a variety of factors, including psychological, physiological, and lifestyle choices. Your concerns regarding frequent masturbation and its potential impact on your sexual function are valid and worth exploring.
Frequent masturbation is a common behavior among men and, in most cases, does not lead to long-term sexual dysfunction. However, it can sometimes lead to temporary changes in sexual response. For instance, if you have been masturbating very frequently, you may find that your body becomes accustomed to certain types of stimulation, which can make it more challenging to achieve arousal or maintain an erection without that specific stimulation. This phenomenon is sometimes referred to as "desensitization," where the usual stimuli no longer elicit the same level of arousal.
The fact that you are experiencing a longer time to achieve orgasm and a decrease in sensitivity to sexual stimuli could be indicative of a few things. It might be a temporary phase related to your masturbation habits, or it could be influenced by psychological factors such as anxiety or stress about your sexual performance. Additionally, the use of medications like "柔沛" (likely referring to finasteride, commonly used for hair loss or prostate issues) can also have side effects that impact sexual function, including decreased libido and erectile difficulties.
It's important to note that while occasional changes in sexual function can be normal, persistent issues may warrant further investigation. If you find that you are consistently having difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection, or if you feel that your sexual experiences are not as satisfying as they used to be, it may be beneficial to consult with a healthcare professional. They can help determine whether your symptoms are related to your masturbation habits, the medication you are taking, or possibly an underlying medical condition.
In terms of treatment, if your erectile dysfunction is linked to psychological factors, therapy or counseling might be beneficial. Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) can help address any anxiety or negative thoughts surrounding sexual performance. If the issue is more physiological, your doctor may suggest lifestyle changes, such as reducing the frequency of masturbation, improving diet and exercise, or adjusting medications if they are contributing to the problem.
In summary, while frequent masturbation can lead to temporary changes in sexual response, it does not inherently cause erectile dysfunction. However, if you are experiencing ongoing difficulties, it is essential to seek professional advice. A healthcare provider can help assess your situation, provide guidance on managing your symptoms, and suggest appropriate treatments or lifestyle modifications to improve your sexual health. Remember, open communication with your healthcare provider is key to addressing any concerns you may have regarding your sexual function.
