Can I get pregnant?
I would like to ask about my menstrual cycle, which is very regular.
May 4th and May 5th are my ovulation days, which are considered fertile days.
A male partner touched me with his hand, but I am unsure if he touched his own genitals beforehand, such as coming into contact with pre-ejaculate fluid.
However, I am certain that he did not ejaculate before touching me.
I am concerned about the possibility of pregnancy.

When it comes to the question of whether you can get pregnant from touching, particularly in the context of manual stimulation, it's important to understand the mechanics of conception and the factors that contribute to pregnancy.
Pregnancy occurs when sperm fertilizes an egg, which typically happens during sexual intercourse when sperm is ejaculated into the vagina. However, the concern arises when there is potential for sperm to be transferred from one surface to another, such as from a partner's hand to the vagina.
In your scenario, if the male partner did not ejaculate and there was no direct contact with semen or pre-ejaculatory fluid (pre-cum) on his hands before touching you, the likelihood of pregnancy is extremely low. Pre-ejaculatory fluid can contain sperm, but the amount is usually minimal, and the chances of it being transferred effectively through skin contact are very slim.
However, if there was any possibility that the partner had touched his genitals before touching you, there is a slight risk of sperm being present on his hands. Sperm can survive outside the body for a short period, but they are quite sensitive to environmental conditions. They typically do not survive long on surfaces, and the chances of them being viable enough to cause pregnancy through such indirect contact are very low.
To further clarify, the fertile window in a menstrual cycle is generally considered to be a few days leading up to and including ovulation. If your cycle is regular and you are aware of your ovulation days, this knowledge can help you assess your risk. Since you mentioned that your ovulation days are around May 4th and 5th, if the touching occurred outside of this window and there was no direct transfer of sperm, the risk of pregnancy remains minimal.
If you are still concerned about the possibility of pregnancy, consider taking a home pregnancy test if your next period is late. These tests are quite sensitive and can provide you with a reliable answer. Additionally, if you have any further doubts or experience unusual symptoms, consulting with a healthcare provider can offer you peace of mind and professional guidance.
In summary, while the risk of becoming pregnant from mere touching is very low, especially if there was no ejaculation involved and no direct contact with sperm, it is always wise to be cautious and informed about your reproductive health. If you have ongoing concerns about fertility or contraception, discussing these with a healthcare professional can provide you with tailored advice and options to consider.
