Could I become pregnant?

On May 26, my girlfriend and I were in a sexual position where I was on the bottom and she was on top.
After withdrawing, I noticed my penis had become soft, but the condom was still on.
I checked and there was no leakage.
Is there a chance she could become pregnant? Also, I would like to ask if semen can become transparent.

Qi, 10~19 year old female. Ask Date: 2024/05/26

When it comes to the possibility of pregnancy, especially in the context of sexual intercourse, there are several factors to consider. Based on your description, it seems that you engaged in sexual activity with your girlfriend, and you were using a condom, which is a reliable method of contraception when used correctly. The fact that you did not notice any leakage or breakage of the condom is a positive sign in terms of preventing pregnancy.

To address your question directly: if the condom remained intact and there was no spillage of semen, the likelihood of pregnancy is very low. However, it is important to remember that no contraceptive method is 100% effective, and there is always a small risk of failure, particularly if the condom is not used correctly.

Regarding your question about semen changing color, it is normal for semen to vary in appearance. Healthy semen can range from a cloudy white to a more transparent color. Factors that can influence the appearance of semen include hydration levels, diet, and frequency of ejaculation. If you notice a significant change in the color or consistency of your semen, or if you experience any discomfort, it may be worth consulting a healthcare professional to rule out any underlying issues.

In summary, if the condom was intact and there was no leakage, the chances of pregnancy are minimal. However, if you or your girlfriend have concerns about potential pregnancy or any changes in your bodies, it is advisable to consult with a healthcare provider for personalized advice and reassurance. Additionally, if you are looking for more reliable contraception methods or have questions about sexual health, a healthcare professional can provide guidance tailored to your specific situation.
