Some questions?
I recently noticed some wrinkled-looking spots on my glans that are a bit yellowish and feel somewhat rough to the touch.
They are not painful.
Could this be peeling skin? Also, does holding back ejaculation for too long lead to premature ejaculation?

Hello, classmate: The condition on the glans may be eczema.
Retaining semen will not cause premature ejaculation.

When it comes to concerns regarding the appearance of the glans (the head of the penis) and issues related to premature ejaculation, it's essential to approach the situation with a clear understanding of both anatomical changes and sexual health.
Firstly, the presence of what appears to be "wrinkles" or rough patches on the glans can be concerning. These changes could be due to several benign conditions, such as pearly penile papules, which are small, harmless bumps that can appear around the glans and are often mistaken for abnormalities. Another possibility is a condition known as balanitis, which is inflammation of the glans that can lead to peeling or rough texture, often accompanied by redness or irritation. If the area is not painful and there are no other symptoms such as discharge, it might not be a cause for alarm. However, if you notice any changes in color, texture, or if you experience discomfort, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional for a proper diagnosis.
Regarding the concern about premature ejaculation (PE), it is a common issue that many men face. The relationship between prolonged abstinence or "holding back" and premature ejaculation is complex. Some studies suggest that men who practice techniques to delay ejaculation may experience heightened sensitivity, which can lead to PE when they do engage in sexual activity. However, it is also important to note that PE can be influenced by various factors, including psychological aspects such as anxiety, stress, or even relationship dynamics.
If you find that you are experiencing premature ejaculation, there are several strategies and treatments available. Behavioral techniques, such as the "stop-start" method or the "squeeze" technique, can help you gain better control over ejaculation. Additionally, there are topical anesthetics that can reduce sensitivity, as well as certain medications that may be prescribed by a healthcare provider to help manage the condition.
It is also worth mentioning that sexual health is an integral part of overall well-being. Open communication with your partner about any concerns can alleviate anxiety and improve your sexual experience. If you feel that your symptoms are affecting your quality of life or your sexual relationships, seeking advice from a urologist or a sexual health specialist can provide you with tailored guidance and treatment options.
In summary, while the appearance of wrinkles or rough patches on the glans may not necessarily indicate a serious issue, it is always best to consult a healthcare professional for an accurate diagnosis. Regarding premature ejaculation, understanding the factors that contribute to it and exploring various management techniques can help improve your sexual health and confidence. Remember, sexual health is a vital aspect of overall health, and addressing any concerns with a professional can lead to better outcomes.
