Can I get pregnant?
I had intimate contact during the week of June 27.
Although I took off my outer pants, I was still wearing another layer, and there was no penetration or ejaculation.
However, the inner layer got wet, and I’m unsure if there were any secretions present.
Is this situation very risky? Could secretions lead to pregnancy? My last menstrual cycle started on June 12, and now it's almost the end of July, but my period hasn’t arrived yet.
I tested for pregnancy using a home pregnancy test, and it was negative.
Why hasn’t my period come? I’m really anxious about this.
Could you please respond to my questions as soon as possible? Thank you.

There are many reasons for a delayed menstrual period, and it is advisable to visit a gynecologist for an examination.

More Info
It is understandable to feel anxious about the possibility of pregnancy, especially after intimate contact without intercourse. To address your question directly: yes, it is possible to become pregnant from intimate contact without penetration, particularly if there is any transfer of seminal fluid or pre-ejaculatory fluid (pre-cum) that contains sperm.
In your case, you mentioned that there was intimate contact where your partner did not penetrate, and you were wearing clothing. However, if there was any moisture from his genital area that could have come into contact with your vagina, there is a small risk of pregnancy. Sperm can survive in moist environments for a short period, and if they come into contact with the vaginal opening, there is a potential, albeit low, risk of pregnancy.
Regarding your menstrual cycle, it is important to note that stress, hormonal fluctuations, and other factors can affect your cycle. If your last menstrual period (LMP) was on June 12 and you are now approaching the end of July without a period, it is understandable to feel concerned. A negative pregnancy test, especially if taken correctly and at the right time, is a good indication that you are not pregnant. However, if your period does not arrive soon, it may be wise to consult with a healthcare provider for further evaluation.
In terms of your anxiety about the situation, it is crucial to remember that many factors can influence menstrual cycles, including stress, changes in weight, exercise, and hormonal imbalances. If you are experiencing significant stress or anxiety about the possibility of pregnancy, it may also contribute to a delayed period.
If you continue to miss your period, consider scheduling an appointment with a healthcare provider. They can perform a more sensitive blood test to check for pregnancy and discuss any other potential reasons for your missed period. Additionally, they can provide guidance on contraceptive options if you wish to avoid unplanned pregnancies in the future.
In summary, while there is a possibility of pregnancy from intimate contact without intercourse, the risk is generally low if there was no direct transfer of sperm. A negative pregnancy test is reassuring, but if your period does not arrive soon, seeking medical advice is a prudent step. Remember to take care of your mental health during this time, as stress can also impact your menstrual cycle.
