I am very afraid of a virgin getting pregnant?

Hello, doctor.
I have no sexual experience.
My last menstrual period started on October 9th (the first day of my period), and the previous month it started on September 7th.
I did not have a period in August.
On October 29th, my boyfriend inserted his middle finger into my vagina, but he had not ejaculated; there were only some secretions.
I helped him with manual stimulation, and he ejaculated above my belly button (I wiped it off immediately).
However, we did not have any direct genital contact.
Afterward, when I went to the bathroom, I noticed some light red blood mixed with clear discharge.
The next day, I experienced intermittent spotting and a little bit of light yellow, odorless discharge, which lasted for 2 to 3 days and then stopped.
My period is expected on November 9th, but it has not arrived yet; I have only had some spotting during this time.
Is it possible that I am pregnant, or could this be irregular menstruation or inflammation? My menstrual cycle is usually irregular, often occurring every two months.
However, I am worried that my boyfriend's finger may have come into contact with pre-ejaculate fluid, which could lead to pregnancy.
I really don’t want to get pregnant as a virgin! I kindly ask for your prompt response; I am really worried.

More Info

It's understandable to have concerns about pregnancy, especially when it comes to the potential risks and implications of sexual activity, even if it was limited. Based on the information you've provided, let's break down your situation and address your concerns.

Firstly, regarding the possibility of pregnancy: While it is true that the risk of pregnancy from manual stimulation (such as finger insertion) is significantly lower than from penetrative sexual intercourse, it is not entirely impossible. Sperm can potentially be transferred from pre-ejaculatory fluid (pre-cum) if it was present on your boyfriend's fingers. However, the likelihood of this leading to pregnancy is quite low, especially if there was no direct ejaculation into the vagina.

The spotting you experienced could be attributed to several factors. Given that your menstrual cycle has been irregular, it is possible that the spotting is related to hormonal fluctuations rather than pregnancy. Light spotting can occur for various reasons, including ovulation, hormonal changes, or even stress. If your menstrual cycle is typically irregular, it may simply be a sign that your body is adjusting, and your period may still arrive later than expected.

If you are concerned about the possibility of pregnancy, the best course of action is to take a home pregnancy test. These tests are most accurate when taken after a missed period, so if your period does not arrive by the expected date (around November 9), you should consider testing. If the test is negative and your period still does not come, it may be wise to consult a healthcare provider for further evaluation.

In terms of your symptoms, the presence of light spotting and clear discharge could indicate a variety of things, including hormonal changes or even a mild infection. If the discharge becomes foul-smelling or is accompanied by other symptoms such as itching or significant discomfort, it would be advisable to seek medical attention.

It's also important to note that if you are feeling anxious about the situation, discussing your concerns with a healthcare professional can provide reassurance and guidance. They can help you understand your menstrual cycle better and address any underlying issues that may be affecting it.

In summary, while the risk of pregnancy from the activities you described is low, it is not zero. Monitoring your menstrual cycle and taking a pregnancy test if your period does not arrive is a prudent approach. If you have any further concerns or if your symptoms change, do not hesitate to reach out to a healthcare provider for personalized advice and support.
