Tongue coating and the stomach?

Lee,
My tongue coating often changes color depending on what I eat, especially after drinking milk tea or black tea, which turns yellow.
If I don't consume colored foods, it doesn't change color.
I found information online suggesting that the color of the tongue coating is related to the upper gastrointestinal tract.
Is this true?
Additionally, if I take capsules daily (like reishi mushroom capsules) or calcium supplements, I feel discomfort in my stomach the next morning, sometimes even pain or a burning sensation.
When I stop taking them, the discomfort goes away.
Does this mean there is an issue with my stomach?
Overall, my health is relatively good; I only experience occasional headaches, but I don't have any major health problems.
