Scalp and Hair Loss


Dear Doctor,
I have been experiencing significant hair loss over the past 2-3 months.
The hair loss is widespread, and I lose about 50-60 strands of hair each time I wash my hair, sometimes even more.
It’s quite distressing to see this.
When I wake up, I find about 5-15 strands of hair on my pillow, and the floor is no exception.
I have also noticed that my scalp is becoming visibly more apparent, and my hair has become very fragile, falling out easily.
Sometimes even hair that has just grown or has been growing for 2-3 months falls out easily.
The new hair is also very thin.
If I don’t wash my hair for 2-3 days, I develop a lot of scalp flakes.
I have an oily scalp.
