Chen, I have a habit of having a bowel movement every morning.
I have consistently noticed that whenever I sleep on my back (with my head facing up), my bowel movements the next day tend to be more regular and smoother, and I also experience less abdominal pain.
However, if I sleep on my side (either left or right), I tend to wake up with some discomfort in my abdomen, and my stool becomes loose and soft (similar to diarrhea).
