Feeling dehydrated above the neck?


Hello Dr.
Tsai: Recently (in the past 1-2 months), I have been experiencing dryness in both eyes, but I have seen an ophthalmologist who said there were no abnormalities.
I also have been getting acne around the left side of my mouth, and it appears only in that area, occurring daily.
I recently noticed that if I feel thirsty before going to bed (even after hydrating), I wake up the next morning with very dry eyes and a dry mouth.
I also get up at night to use the restroom and hydrate.
The ophthalmologist prescribed eye drops, which I use regularly, but I still experience dryness.
What could be causing these symptoms?
