Yan: After many years of infertility post-marriage, I underwent a rectal examination by a Western medicine doctor and was diagnosed with mild to moderate endometriosis located on the rectum.
I have never experienced dysmenorrhea, and my CA-125 levels have always been normal.
The only discomfort I feel is during intercourse when I lift my legs, which I initially thought was due to a retroverted uterus.
However, after consulting several Western gynecologists, one of them diagnosed me with endometriosis and recommended laparoscopic surgery, but I am hesitant to undergo general anesthesia, so I have been postponing it! My friend mentioned that I shouldn't eat pineapple because it could worsen my endometriosis.
Is that true?
