Hidden Penis: Key Questions and Answers for Patients - Urology

Hidden penis? (Continued)

Based on your previous response, I have some questions:
1.
How many times a day should I apply it? Currently, I apply it once every night.

2.
Is it better to apply it thinner and more evenly?
3.
Is it acceptable to apply it without retracting the foreskin to allow the glans to stretch the foreskin? I previously experienced the foreskin slipping behind the glans, which caused it to be stuck for 7-8 hours until I became anxious and went to see a doctor.
While waiting at the hospital, the foreskin eventually returned to its original position on its own.
Due to this experience, I am hesitant to retract it behind the glans again.

4.
What about weight loss oil? Where can I buy it? Is it safe to apply to such a sensitive area? Are there any side effects?
5.
How can I effectively lose weight in the lower abdomen? I have lost some weight, but my lower abdomen has not reduced.

I apologize for bothering you again, but this is very important to me.
Thank you very much for your response.

Dr. Xu Weikai reply Urology

Passerby A: Hello! 1.
It doesn't matter; generally, once or twice a day is recommended, preferably after showering or before getting out of bed.
2.
Just a small amount for application is sufficient.
3.
The effectiveness is relatively poor; relying solely on topical medications sometimes yields no results at all.
Regarding the weight loss oil????? I cannot answer the above; if there are any unclear points, feel free to ask again, and we can discuss and research further.

Understanding Hidden Penis is a topic that often raises questions among patients, particularly regarding the management and treatment of conditions related to the penis and foreskin. Here are some key points to address your questions:
1. Frequency of Application: It is generally recommended to apply topical treatments as directed by your healthcare provider. If you are currently applying a cream or ointment once a night, that may be sufficient, but it is essential to follow the specific instructions provided by your doctor. Some treatments may require more frequent application, while others may be effective with less frequent use. Always consult your healthcare provider for personalized advice.

2. Application Technique: When applying topical treatments, it is usually best to apply a thin, even layer. This ensures that the medication can be absorbed effectively without causing irritation. Applying too thick a layer may not enhance the effectiveness and could potentially lead to side effects. Therefore, aim for a thin and uniform application.

3. Foreskin Management: If you are hesitant to retract the foreskin due to previous experiences, it's important to communicate this concern with your healthcare provider. While retracting the foreskin can help in certain treatments, it should be done cautiously and only if you feel comfortable. If you experience any pain or difficulty, it is crucial to seek medical advice. Your provider can guide you on the best practices for managing your condition without causing discomfort or complications.

4. Use of Weight Loss Creams: If you are considering using a weight loss cream, it is vital to ensure that it is safe for application on sensitive areas. Many weight loss creams contain active ingredients that may not be suitable for delicate skin, especially in the genital area. Always check with your healthcare provider before using any new product, particularly on sensitive skin, to avoid adverse reactions.

5. Targeting Abdominal Fat: Reducing fat in specific areas, such as the lower abdomen, can be challenging. A combination of a balanced diet, regular exercise, and possibly strength training can help. Focus on overall weight loss, as spot reduction is generally considered ineffective. Incorporating cardiovascular exercises, such as running or cycling, along with core-strengthening exercises, can contribute to a healthier body composition. Additionally, maintaining a healthy diet rich in whole foods, lean proteins, and plenty of fruits and vegetables can support your weight loss goals.

In summary, managing conditions related to the hidden penis involves careful application of treatments, effective communication with your healthcare provider, and a holistic approach to weight management. If you have any concerns or uncertainties about your treatment plan or symptoms, do not hesitate to reach out to your healthcare provider for further clarification and support. Your health and comfort are paramount, and a collaborative approach with your medical team can lead to better outcomes.
