There are scars on the glans?

Five years ago, I wanted to get another tattoo but was afraid of the pain.
I bought temporary tattoo ink online and applied it all over my penis, but I experienced an inexplicable burning pain.
When I endured the pain and washed off the tattoo ink, I discovered a wound on the glans that was about the size of a five-dollar coin.
On the right side of the penis, there was a wound approximately 3 cm wide and 4 cm long.
I applied medication myself, and it healed, but the skin on the glans and the right side of the penis felt noticeably different.
Over the years, due to frequent masturbation, my penis has become very dark, and the scar on the glans has also darkened significantly.
My colleagues joke about the mole on my glans.
Two years ago, during a piercing procedure, the skin on the right side was not only dark but also thick.
The piercer mentioned that it was difficult to pierce through.
This year, I have experienced intermittent pain on the right side of my penis multiple times at work.
The last episode of pain was in early May, and today I felt a sharp pain for a few seconds.

1.
Is there a way to remove the scar on the glans?
2.
Does the thick, dark skin on the right side of the penis that causes unexplained pain require treatment or excision?

Addressing scarring and pain on the penis can be a sensitive and complex issue, particularly when it involves previous injuries or skin conditions. Based on your description, it seems that you have experienced significant trauma to the penile area due to the use of a temporary tattoo solution, which has resulted in scarring and changes in skin texture and color. Additionally, you are experiencing intermittent pain, particularly on the right side of the penis.

1. Scar Treatment: The scars on the glans (the head of the penis) and the right side of the shaft may be treated, but the options depend on the nature of the scars. If the scars are hypertrophic (raised) or keloid (overgrown), treatments such as silicone gel sheets, corticosteroid injections, or laser therapy may be beneficial. For flat scars, topical treatments like silicone-based creams or gels can help improve the appearance over time. However, it is crucial to consult a dermatologist or a urologist who specializes in penile health for a tailored treatment plan. They can assess the scars and recommend the most appropriate interventions.

2. Thickened and Darkened Skin: The thickened and darkened skin on the right side of the penis may indicate a condition known as lichen simplex chronicus or possibly post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation due to the trauma you experienced. If the skin is painful or shows signs of infection (such as redness, swelling, or discharge), it is essential to seek medical attention. A healthcare provider may perform a physical examination and possibly a biopsy to rule out any underlying conditions, such as skin infections or other dermatological issues.

3. Pain Management: The intermittent pain you are experiencing could be due to nerve irritation, scar tissue formation, or other underlying issues related to the previous trauma. It is essential to monitor the pain and note any patterns or triggers. If the pain persists or worsens, a urologist can help determine the cause and recommend appropriate pain management strategies, which may include medications, physical therapy, or other interventions.

4. Consultation with Specialists: Given the complexity of your symptoms, it is highly advisable to consult with a urologist who has experience in treating penile conditions. They can provide a comprehensive evaluation and discuss potential treatment options, including surgical interventions if necessary. It is also important to discuss any concerns regarding sexual function or sensitivity, as these can be affected by scarring and skin changes.

5. Preventive Measures: Moving forward, it is crucial to avoid any products or procedures that could further irritate or damage the skin of the penis. If you are considering any cosmetic procedures or treatments in the future, ensure they are performed by qualified professionals and that you are fully informed about the potential risks and side effects.

In summary, while there are options available for treating scarring and pain on the penis, it is essential to seek professional medical advice to ensure the best outcomes. A urologist can provide a thorough assessment and recommend a personalized treatment plan that addresses your specific concerns.
