Foreskin issues
I have a foreskin, and when I'm not erect, I can retract it easily.
However, when I am erect, I can only retract it halfway, and pulling it down forcefully causes discomfort.
I feel that my glans is particularly sensitive, as I tend to climax easily during both intercourse and oral sex.
I read online that having an intact foreskin may lead to a higher likelihood of premature ejaculation and increased sensitivity as one ages.
Is this true? If so, do I need a circumcision? Will circumcision help me last longer and reduce sensitivity? Additionally, I find it uncomfortable to masturbate even when I retract the foreskin completely.

It sounds like there may be a case of phimosis.
Circumcision could potentially improve the issues you mentioned.
However, it is essential to have a urological examination to determine the appropriate course of action.

Understanding foreskin issues, particularly in relation to sensitivity, ejaculation, and circumcision, can be quite complex and often requires a nuanced approach. Your concerns about sensitivity during sexual activities and the discomfort you experience when attempting to retract the foreskin during an erection are valid and warrant a thorough discussion.
Firstly, it’s important to note that the sensitivity of the glans (the head of the penis) can vary significantly among individuals. For those who are uncircumcised, the glans is typically covered by the foreskin, which can lead to a different sensory experience compared to those who are circumcised. When the foreskin is retracted, the glans is exposed, which can increase sensitivity due to the lack of protective covering. This heightened sensitivity can sometimes lead to quicker ejaculation during sexual activities, as you have experienced.
Regarding your question about whether having an intact foreskin leads to increased sensitivity and a higher likelihood of premature ejaculation, there is some anecdotal evidence and opinions in the medical community that suggest this could be the case. However, it is essential to understand that premature ejaculation can be influenced by various factors, including psychological aspects, anxiety, and individual physiological differences, rather than solely the presence or absence of the foreskin.
As for the decision to undergo circumcision, this is a personal choice and should be made after careful consideration of the potential benefits and risks. Circumcision can reduce sensitivity in some individuals, which may help with issues related to premature ejaculation. However, it is also important to recognize that circumcision is a surgical procedure that carries its own risks, including pain, bleeding, and infection. Additionally, some men report a decrease in sexual pleasure post-circumcision, while others find it beneficial.
If you are experiencing discomfort when retracting the foreskin, especially during an erection, it may be indicative of a condition known as phimosis, where the foreskin cannot be fully retracted over the glans. Phimosis can lead to discomfort during sexual activities and may require medical intervention. In some cases, gentle stretching exercises or topical treatments may help, but if the condition is severe, circumcision might be recommended.
Before making any decisions, it is crucial to consult with a healthcare provider, preferably a urologist, who can assess your specific situation. They can provide guidance based on your symptoms, medical history, and personal preferences. They may also explore other options, such as desensitizing creams or behavioral techniques, which can help manage sensitivity and ejaculation issues without the need for surgery.
In conclusion, while having a foreskin can influence sensitivity and ejaculation, it is not the sole factor at play. If you are considering circumcision, weigh the pros and cons carefully and discuss your concerns with a qualified healthcare professional who can provide personalized advice and support. Remember, every individual is different, and what works for one person may not be the best solution for another.
