The right testicle is relatively weaker?
Hello, doctor.
When I am doing DIY, just before ejaculation, I notice that my left testicle retracts more strongly and is more sensitive, while my right testicle is less sensitive, less excited, and does not retract as much.
During ejaculation, it feels like only the left side is providing semen.
What could be the reason for this? Will it have any effects? Thank you!

Hello, I think you might be more sensitive.
If it is indeed unilateral semen, it could indicate a blockage in the vas deferens on the other side or a testicular condition that prevents sperm production and semen formation.
I hope the above response is helpful to you.

Asymmetrical testicular sensitivity and function can be a perplexing issue for many individuals. The phenomenon you're experiencing, where one testicle (in your case, the left) appears to be more sensitive and responsive than the other (the right), can be attributed to several factors, both physiological and anatomical.
Firstly, it is important to understand that the testicles are not identical in structure or function. Each testicle may have slight variations in size, shape, and sensitivity due to individual anatomical differences. The left testicle is often positioned slightly lower than the right, which can lead to differences in how they respond during sexual arousal and ejaculation. This positioning can also affect the way they retract during arousal, which may explain why you notice a more pronounced contraction on the left side.
Hormonal influences can also play a significant role in testicular function. Testosterone levels can vary between individuals and even between the two testicles in the same person. If one testicle is producing more testosterone or has a higher sensitivity to it, this could lead to increased sensitivity and responsiveness during sexual activity.
Another factor to consider is the presence of any underlying medical conditions. Conditions such as varicocele (enlargement of the veins within the scrotum), epididymitis (inflammation of the epididymis), or even testicular torsion can lead to asymmetrical sensations and function. These conditions can affect blood flow, nerve sensitivity, and overall testicular health, potentially leading to the symptoms you describe.
In terms of sexual function, it is essential to recognize that asymmetry in testicular sensitivity does not necessarily indicate a problem. Many men experience variations in sensitivity and function between their testicles. However, if you notice any pain, swelling, or significant changes in sexual function, it would be prudent to consult a healthcare professional for a thorough evaluation.
Regarding the concern about ejaculation and the sensation of only the left testicle contributing to the process, it is important to note that both testicles typically produce sperm, but the sensation of ejaculation can vary. The left testicle may feel more involved due to its heightened sensitivity, but this does not mean that the right testicle is not contributing to sperm production. The process of ejaculation is complex and involves various muscles and nerves, and it is possible for one side to feel more dominant during the experience.
In conclusion, while asymmetrical testicular sensitivity can be a normal variation, it is essential to monitor any changes or discomfort. If you have concerns about your sexual health or experience any unusual symptoms, seeking advice from a healthcare provider is always a good idea. They can provide a more personalized assessment and address any underlying issues that may be contributing to your experience.
