I would like to ask if this could lead to pregnancy?
Hello Doctor, I have a question.
A few days ago, I was rubbing against my girlfriend while wearing only my underwear, and she was wearing both inner and outer pants.
I am certain that there was no ejaculation, but afterward, I noticed a small circular wet spot on my underwear that was a bit transparent.
The amount was not much, but my girlfriend's underwear was quite wet after, and her outer pants felt warm due to the fabric.
There was no obvious wetness on the outside of her pants.
That day, she happened to be in a high-risk phase for pregnancy, but her menstrual cycle is usually irregular and often delayed, and she usually relies on traditional medicine to induce menstruation.
I would like to know if this could lead to pregnancy.
We have never engaged in actual sexual intercourse, and we are very worried.
Thank you for your help.

Hello, the chances of pregnancy are low, but it is important to take proper contraceptive measures "before" sexual activity and not to rely on the safe period.
Wishing you good health.

The concern regarding the possibility of pregnancy resulting from friction and clothing is a common one, especially among young couples. To address your question, it is important to understand the mechanics of conception and the role of bodily fluids in this process.
Pregnancy occurs when sperm fertilizes an egg, which typically happens during sexual intercourse when sperm is deposited in the vaginal canal. In your situation, you mentioned engaging in friction with your girlfriend while both of you were clothed, with you wearing only underwear. You also noted that there was no ejaculation, which is a significant factor in determining the likelihood of pregnancy.
While it is theoretically possible for sperm to be present in pre-ejaculatory fluid (also known as pre-cum), the amount of sperm in this fluid is generally much lower than in ejaculate. Moreover, for pregnancy to occur, sperm must travel through the vaginal canal, into the uterus, and reach the fallopian tubes where fertilization occurs. This journey is unlikely to happen through clothing, especially if there was no direct contact between the genital areas.
The presence of a small amount of clear, wet fluid on your underwear could be attributed to various factors, including natural lubrication or sweat, rather than sperm. Similarly, your girlfriend's wet underwear could be due to her own natural bodily fluids, which can vary in consistency and amount throughout her menstrual cycle.
Given that your girlfriend was in a phase of her cycle where she might be more fertile, it is understandable to be concerned. However, the likelihood of pregnancy from the scenario you described is extremely low, especially since there was no direct ejaculation or penetration involved.
It is also worth noting that if your girlfriend has irregular menstrual cycles and often relies on herbal remedies to induce menstruation, it may be beneficial for her to consult with a healthcare provider. Irregular cycles can sometimes indicate underlying health issues that may need to be addressed.
In conclusion, while the possibility of pregnancy cannot be entirely ruled out in any intimate situation, the scenario you described—friction through clothing without ejaculation—presents a very low risk for conception. If either of you has ongoing concerns about pregnancy or reproductive health, it would be wise to seek advice from a healthcare professional who can provide personalized guidance and support. Additionally, if you are looking to prevent pregnancy in the future, consider discussing contraceptive options with a healthcare provider to find a method that works best for both of you.
