Can rubbing the glans against the vulva lead to pregnancy?

A few days ago, I had an intimate encounter with my boyfriend.
Although I believe I do not have a hymen anymore due to a previous incident, my boyfriend has never penetrated me.
We have only engaged in foreplay using oral and manual stimulation.
A few days ago, my boyfriend inserted his fingers inside me, but he withdrew after less than ten thrusts because I was afraid of pain.
He also rubbed his glans against my labia for about five times without penetration.
Later, I used my labia to rub against the underside of his glans (the side without the opening).
We have been cautious and avoided direct contact for the past four to five days.

Recently, I noticed that sometimes when I wipe after using the restroom, there is a small amount of brownish blood.
It’s not a lot, and my last menstrual period started on February 1st, which suggests I might be around my ovulation period.
This could potentially be ovulation bleeding, but could it also indicate pregnancy? Should I be concerned about this brown discharge and seek medical evaluation? Thank you for your response.

Hello, the chances of pregnancy are low; it could be ovulation bleeding.
You should not rely on the safe period.
It is better to take preventive measures before engaging in sexual activity.
If your period is more than a week late, it is advisable to see a gynecologist.
Wishing you good health.

Friction between the glans (the head of the penis) and the vulva (the external part of the female genitalia) can potentially lead to pregnancy, although the likelihood is relatively low compared to penetrative intercourse. Pregnancy occurs when sperm fertilizes an egg, and this typically requires sperm to be deposited in or near the vaginal canal. However, there are a few important considerations regarding your situation.

1. Sperm Transfer: If your boyfriend's fingers or glans came into contact with pre-ejaculatory fluid (pre-cum), which can contain sperm, there is a possibility of sperm being transferred to the vaginal area. Even if penetration did not occur, the friction could theoretically allow for sperm to enter the vaginal canal, especially if there was any fluid exchange.

2. Ovulation and Timing: You mentioned that your last menstrual period started on February 1 and that you believe you are in your ovulation period. Ovulation typically occurs about 14 days before the start of your next period, making it a fertile window for conception. If you were indeed ovulating, the chances of becoming pregnant from any sperm that may have been transferred during the friction increase.

3. Brown Discharge: The brown discharge you are experiencing could be due to several factors. It might be old blood, which can occur during ovulation or as a result of hormonal changes. It could also be a sign of implantation bleeding if conception occurred. However, it is essential to monitor this symptom. If the discharge continues, increases in volume, or is accompanied by pain or other unusual symptoms, it would be wise to consult a healthcare provider for an evaluation.

4. Pregnancy Testing: If you suspect you might be pregnant, the most reliable way to confirm this is through a home pregnancy test or a visit to your healthcare provider. Home pregnancy tests are most accurate when taken after a missed period, but some can detect pregnancy a few days before a missed period.

5. Consultation with a Healthcare Provider: Given your concerns about the brown discharge and the potential for pregnancy, it would be prudent to schedule an appointment with a healthcare provider. They can perform a thorough examination, possibly including a pelvic exam, and provide guidance based on your specific situation.

In summary, while friction alone is less likely to lead to pregnancy, it is not impossible, especially if there was any transfer of sperm. The brown discharge you are experiencing warrants attention, and consulting with a healthcare provider will help clarify your situation and provide peace of mind. Always remember that if you have concerns about sexual health or pregnancy, seeking professional medical advice is the best course of action.
