Is it possible to be pregnant?

Hello doctor, I would like to ask you a question.
Last Tuesday, I masturbated in front of my girlfriend, then went to the bathroom to clean up.
While washing with hot water, I accidentally touched a little bit, but I didn't use any body wash or anything; my hands were at least clean enough that they weren't slippery.
After my hands dried a bit, I touched my girlfriend's genitals, but I didn't go inside her hymen.
She happened to be in her ovulation period.
Is there a chance she could get pregnant from this? Also, on the last day of her ovulation period, we performed oral sex, and I ejaculated in her mouth and she spit it out.
After that, she brushed her teeth and washed her hands.
Is there any chance of pregnancy from this as well?

Hello, the chances of pregnancy are low, and you should not rely on the safe period.
It is better to take preventive measures for contraception before engaging in sexual activity.
If your period is more than a week late, it is advisable to see a gynecologist.
Wishing you good health.

The question of whether pregnancy can occur from indirect contact during ovulation is a nuanced one. To address your concerns, let's break down the scenarios you've described and provide a comprehensive understanding based on medical knowledge.

Firstly, sperm must be deposited in the vagina or near the vaginal opening for pregnancy to occur. Sperm can survive in the female reproductive tract for up to five days, especially around the time of ovulation when the cervical mucus is more conducive to sperm survival. In your case, you mentioned that you engaged in masturbation and then washed your hands before touching your girlfriend. If there was no direct transfer of semen to her vaginal area, the likelihood of pregnancy is significantly reduced.

When you washed your hands, even if you did not use soap, the act of washing with water would likely remove most, if not all, of the sperm that may have been present. Sperm are quite sensitive to environmental changes, and exposure to water, especially hot water, can diminish their viability. Therefore, the chances of sperm remaining on your hands after washing and being capable of causing pregnancy are very low.

Regarding the second part of your question, where you mentioned oral sex and the subsequent brushing of teeth and washing your hands, it's important to note that pregnancy cannot occur through oral sex. The act of oral sex does not involve the introduction of sperm into the vaginal canal, which is necessary for fertilization. Even if sperm were present in the mouth and subsequently swallowed or spat out, this would not lead to pregnancy.

To summarize, based on the scenarios you described:
1. The likelihood of pregnancy from touching your girlfriend after washing your hands is extremely low, especially if there was no direct contact with semen.

2. Oral sex, followed by brushing your teeth and washing your hands, does not pose a risk for pregnancy.

If you or your girlfriend are concerned about the possibility of pregnancy, it may be beneficial to take a pregnancy test if her menstrual period is late. Additionally, if you are looking to prevent pregnancy in the future, consider discussing contraceptive options with a healthcare provider.
In conclusion, while the timing of ovulation does increase the chances of pregnancy if sperm are present, the specific actions you described do not suggest a significant risk of pregnancy. Always remember that if there are any uncertainties or concerns regarding sexual health or pregnancy, consulting with a healthcare professional is the best course of action.
