Understanding Severe Menstrual Pain: Is It Normal on Day One?

Menstrual pain inquiry? I would like to ask, sometimes on the first day of my menstrual period, I experience very, very severe pain, but in the following days, the pain is not as intense. Is there a problem with this? Thank you for taking the time to answer.

Dr. Wei Fumao Reply:
There are various conditions that can cause menstrual pain: endometriosis, adenomyosis, uterine fibroids, and cervical pressure from menstruation in women who have never given birth (due to a tighter cervix). Please visit a gynecologist for an examination.
